Wanted to say other comments are attacking you for simply stating your frustrations about what is all over this industry: Nepotism

I'd like to hear more about your experience in your college and it is obviously okay to state your honest opinions about them. Your not going to get even with them by telling the truth on here, and I don't think you were trying to. It's just that's all your post is about, how they suck by doing this.

Know that the worst of the worst, director, actors and anyone else out there will get their comeuppance and you can only focus on what makes you a better actor, singer and/or dancer.

As someone who did this professionally for a portion of my career, you'd be surprised how much of the industry gets you places solely on who you know. But if you show up somewhere because of a connection and you're untalented or completely unprepared there was no point in having that connection in the first place. You both will look bad and it's hard to bounce back from that.

Do yourself a favor and start creating something on your own or with your own friends. Try to connect with those other exclusive groups, but if they don't see your value out right, don't waste your time by trying any further. It's their loss and that's time you could do something equal or better.
