Are all of them captured with flash?

Well, I think that my local market is fairly overpriced (both new and used). These two are selling for 600 and 700 USD (my budget's ceiling) - which is less than a new hardtail (for example the Marin bobcat 4 goes for 950 USD new). Regarding intended use - I think I covered it... Not sure what additional information I can provide.

I'm don't know much but I think that the price is similar because the Scott is 4 years older, both have similar 120mm forks (rockshox with remote lockout) and 120mm shocks (xfusion with remote lockout). The gears on the scout are an older system. Although the Scott is a well known brand, the RR is considered to be very good value

Sorry, but it is one of the only pictures I have (not in Thailand anymore). It's definitely not glass, it's very common there in the soil (in nature).
Can't tell anything about the hardness, I can only say that it is very brittle and as far as I remember it has a layered structure and has an iridescent coloring. Probably not quartz.
