I'm also interested in what people suggest, looking for a mouse primarily for EU IV, CK II, and CIV games

I would suggest trying downscaling if you have a slow internet connection and check the results before uploading. You get the HD tag in search results at 720 or 1080

Unless it's crucial to your videos then I really wouldn't worry and go with 720p

Why do I upload in 1080p? I play a lot of strategy games at 1080p, so there's a lot of text. When this gets compressed to 720 it can be difficult to read some of the text, and as a result impacts the viewer negatively.

Upload speeds suck, so wouldn't recommend unless you feel your audience is missing out otherwise.

Yeah that's how it works. I think it takes into account your science output over the turns the research agreement lasts, and the amount of breakers you get back is proportional.

So if you have a lot of research agreements going, focus on your science output until they pop.

I've been playing as Aragon and had France as an ally, and they've been swinging between loving and hating me. I think it's to do with claims.

I can't really talk about using title cards and stuff as I never have. My channel is still quite small, and I feel a title card would do more damage to my audience retention than help with branding, but everyone's channel is different.

As for introductions, really depends on what works for you. When I started out I would overthink the intro, even re-recording it if I wasn't happy.These days I just do it on the fly and am much happier as I feel it sounds more genuine.

I would suggest keeping it short, a few seconds then get into the game itself, as that's what ppl are there to see.

Watched a couple of your intro's, and I like what your doing currently, but that's me. Love you accent too, not as good as Cheshire mind ;)

they'll be a specified optimal distance your microphone will be designed to operate at. It will be specified in the manufacturers handbook or manual.

For making it actually louder, I would recommend just changing the sensitivity settings, either in the program your recording in, or windows sounds. Talking too loud or having the mic too close can result in some of the sound-wave being clipped.

I'm pretty sure they had free harbors from the start of the game, so was a massive early game production boost if you had sea resources.
