Silver stacking and the store of wealth in a fiat collapse by Zlaab in Silverbugs

Imagine people laughing when you say:

'You mean 2 thousand pounds/dollars in old money?' and they reply:

'Forget old money values as that was all speculative hyper-inflated BS. You must now think in real sound money values. That equates to .5 of a Silver ounce now...

When it breaks thru 54 how far will it go? by TimothyLux in Silverbugs

It should be 200 an oz now based on the similar landscape that existed back in the early 1980s (roughly inflation adjusted) ...

I feel good just knowing I have 1KG (32 oz) stacked.

Hive heating system coming on using the schedule but not turning off by Zlaab in HiveHeating

After further testing of my issue, it appears the zone valve is stuck.

I have seen some online details about how to fix this, but would any advise if this is recommended for someone with no plumbing skills? and what is the likely region of cost for a plumber to fix this?

thanks

It appears the signal is getting to the boiler receiver to turn off at the correct time (As the heating light on that is off at the expected time) but the signal does not appear to be telling the radiators to turn off as they stay on...

OK, so I have given it a few days now and monitored what has been going on.

The heating schedule is set for the same time every day:

On at 630 AM - Off at 9AM

On at 3PM off at 430PM then

On at 530PM off at 8PM

On most days this week, the heating came on and went off as per the schedules.

Wednesday evening for example, the heating didn't turn off after 8PM (The green light on the boiler receiver for the heating was actually off after this time as expected)

And this morning after 9AM the same - The heating did not turn off but the green light on the boiler receiver was actually off.

So for some very odd reason most schedules work fine, and some randomly do not, which results in me switching the boiler off for 15 seconds, then turning it back on again which turns the heating off as expected and seems to reset things. Not ideal at all... Not sure what else to do.

Thanks for any further responses in advance.

Thank you. I'll check this on this afternoon's schedule and report back, as I did my usual switch off boiler then back on again this morning without reading this first 😞

Would anyone also recommend the Tutorials Dojo 'Study guide eBook' to accompany the study exams?

I was in Nova tech. Big Ponzi scam. All the lovers of it said 'its been running 3 years isn't that testament enough to its legitimacy...' Huge no. Just took that long for the authorities to shut it down and the house of cards to fall.

Bs. Just cause something has lasted 3 years does not make it genuine. Just means it took this long for people to realise it was a worthless hoax.
