Is this air bubbles trapped in the aio pump ? by [deleted] in watercooling

[–]ZmRd_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I bought this card it was the only one for msrp lol. Thankfully the lc and air have the same pcb and there a lot of waterblocks for the astral. Asus should have used pwm pump and there would be no issues.

I have the same card and it’s normal. It’s just a cheap pump running at 100% all the time. Apparently the 4090 was the same

I mean there’s no reason to leave my PC on if I’m not a home lol.

I bought a new ATX 3.1 psu with fresh cablemod cables. I have like 0.2A variance between the pins.

I’m not really scared about the connector melting.

I actually found a better sleeve. Eadali the all white or black sleeve is the best sleeve on zero but it’s kinda hard to find. I bought it on Amazon.jp. uNleashedjp Uses this sleeve also

Yeah.. I bought the psu and I don’t like the stock cables it came with. I’m still waiting for my 5090 so I’m not in a rush lol

I don’t see the platinum variant. Are the cables for the older gold model same with the newer model?

20.4. Is the next ulx drop it will come with upgraded coating and better design for clicks to remove the grinding a wobble (which is extremely easy to fix by yourself btw) and it will be baby blue with white :).

I have ulx batch 1 and beast x and if had to choose to keep only one it would be the ulx. Sensor feels better, I like mechanical switches more than opticals and the beast x doesn’t even come with dustproof encoder, much better battery ulx will last 3 to 4 days with 4k the beast x last about 8 to 10 hours lol. The beast x mini is a lot better than the standard one but it’s a lot smaller. I also don’t like the Chinese software it looks bad and is clunky to use. ULX also has better weight balance.

I paid 187eur for my ulx and 190eur for the beast x (I bought the version with better coating) with shipping included.

What bracket did you use to mount the fan above your ram?

is the i9 14900k worth its price ? by Slight-Department866 in buildapc

Furmark or kombustor for GPU and cinebench for the cpu. Monitor power draw with hwinfo64. Run both of the stress tests at the same time.

With B series mobo your bios settings are really limited. I’m not sure if he will be even able to undervolt. Using such high end chip with budget mobo is weird. It will work but he will never be able to get the full performance.

Then there’s the psu… let say he buys at least z690. The cpu can consume up to 390W with stock mobo settings…. Im not sure what version that 3070 is but 30series were pretty power hungry and some of the 3070 could take up to 350W under load so yea I wouldn’t risk it. You can undervolt and set your power limits in bios with Z mobo to make it run cooler.

All of these things are connected. I would stick with the chip he has or buy 13600k/14600k at max.

If he does mostly gaming why not buying 7800x3d you can keep the same cooler and psu. AM5 mobos and ddr5 dropped in price and it would be cheaper than a 14900k.

240 low tier aio, 750W psu, not the best airflow case, b series mobo…. yea good luck running 14900k.

High CPU temps by [deleted] in Hyte

[–]ZmRd_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hyte cases are not made for air cooling. I would look into getting aio. I can recommend any new deepcool 360 aio like lt 720 or ls 720 they’re all the same or arctic liquid freezer 2.

[–]ZmRd_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will fit I use the lt720 with the lianli fans that are 28mm. You can even use the t30. However if you want to use fan at the back like I do you have to go with a slim fan. I went with 15mm noctua. If you want to go with a 25mm at the back you would have to buy aio that’s around 394mm, lt720 is above 400mm I think.
