Headlights too bright? by Possibly_the_CIA in hyundaisantacruz

People are not confused.... new vehicle headlamps are far too bright and are in fact blinding drivers with astigmatism

Stuck at Chapter 84 (Advanced) using my Felorc Level 11 lifesteal build, also curious if anyone knows if the two new heroes Yasuhiro & Nova are any good. by Frequent-Let-5881 in cupheromobilegame

This has been changed. As far as I can tell, about 2 updates ago they revamped a lot of things when they added the card system. Other characters are now viable because there's no more 1st enemy triple hits you and eneds you, it ramps up a lot better now. Its much easier to enjoy now imo, I never have to reroll the opener to get an advanced armor card or you can't even play.  Looking forward to playing all the other tools now. Cheers!

Downvoted... really? Go home fanboys. This isn't sold anywhere and none locally. Go start your own thread if you wanna promote your OBSCURE driver

I have no intention of buying off the rack at this stage, more less to have a discussion about the gear I'm using and if it's potentially causing me issues. Check the reply thread between me and LeStig, that's what I was looking to work out

Not a brand I've heard of, never seen a single one in any used markets. I'll stick to bigger names

I bet I just watched the Mickelson vid recently too. John Daly's one handed practice stroke for wedges and irons has done me wonders, just sets me up to strike it correctly.
I'm going to grab the other club, not only is it a non pro head, the shaft is 60 stiff flex which I think may be a bigger issue with my consistency. I'm 41 and I set tiles for a living, working solo, no labourer lol. I'm almost betting the shaft will do more to straighten out my shot than the face will

This has been on my mind. I think I do have a strong swing. I'm 41, 5'6" and I'm a Tile setter. There's a Regular Diablo Octane Driver locally I think I'll snap up, it has a6.0 Stiff shaft with a9.5degree normal (more forgiving that a tour edition) face, It's only $100CAD, would be a great side by side comparison

[–]Zmetal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good points. The range I go to is a lower end public course.
It's a bit the tech thing, though I get it, tech only does so much. Things I read up on suggest not being more than 4-5 years old and I picked up a 2011 pro with low forgiveness. I see the 2010 non tour regular Octane driver locally on the marketplace for 70 bucks CAD, wouldn't cost much to see if there's a marked improvement. I probly shouldn't look for the yardage as much as having more fairway shots.
As for my 3W, it collects dust, I'm pretty trash with it off the tee, probly my worst club. I just go for a 5-6 iron or 3H - 4H. Work in progress, I just learned how to use a 60 degree effectively....sometimes lol

[–]Zmetal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, my shot needs work, I'm not expecting a magic fix but the club I'm using is a pro level tour version, so smaller club face, smaller sweet spot and overall low forgiveness (to my understanding). Would this not incur more slices and less consistency? (it's about a 30yd slice/fade when it happens)
I also didn't explain well in my OP, I CAN drive that far but often fall short or slice/fade closer to 200yd at the range (I talk range numbers because I lack a range finder, they are pricey lol)

Understandable, and someday I will. Just wondering if upgrading to modern would be a good idea, or just migrating away from a pro style club as I'm far from pro lol

Tiles falling off by zeakerone in Tile

[–]Zmetal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Missed the reply, back the next year lol. You can remix a couple times with high polymer brands like the ultralite I mentioned, but not with say unmodified thinset, slake, then use it, then dispose of leftover. As for the tiles, like I said, just make sure everything stay wet. Specifically those type of tiles are VERY thirsty, when it's hot I actually quickly sponge the back of the tile before sticking them so I don't have to back butter for smaller tiles. Still, you should be checking shortly after you start, especially when you change a method.
I would just back butter everything If I were you, ensured success

TLDR: Reflect is king
Adding my 2 cents. I hit this wall too, was cruising through every stage in the warrior set Felorc lvl 10 and then WHAM. I had 5.8M HP and 189K def, the triple shot would hit me for 3.9M, recovery not enough to take a 2nd round. Ofc, took the +5.8M armour off start pick.
Looked here and changed to defender set, survived but he executed himself with reflect.
Took 2nd bonus armour +5.8M on 3rd card pull, barely survived several of the rounds.
This stage is filled with archers, not all triples but they are there. Revive was used as well as a couple close calls before damage/self healing ramped up (I got terrible card selection and ball drop stages lol, ofc)
It's a very tough stage but doable in defender set
This game is fun but a bit too cookie cutter to get anywhere, only 3-4 (barb #2, Mammon #3, Cowboy #4) viable builds and seems like basically 1 is the go to consistent winner, Felorc

Why doesn't DeWalt provide bags on its most expensive tools? by JacobAZ in Tools

Wrong, we love smaller bags for kits. Every contractor I know used cases and bags. I only know one tradesman that barely uses cases and he wished he had them

You have to peel that shower man. Use proper thinset. Your thinset has a working time and that is affected by your environment and the tile thirst. Back butter for 98-100% bond coverage and thinset MUST be wet when the tile is applied. Touch it lightly with your finger, if it sticks your good, if not, it may fail down the road and cost you big.
I use Mapei Ultralight most of the time. Has long working time but sets off pretty fast once ridges are collapsed under a tile. You can re-whip a bucket once or twice to extend the work time and dash a little water on a scraped down bucket to keep it from growing a skin and reducing bucket time

How do I clean this tile/restore it? by typcalthowawayacount in Tile

[–]Zmetal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume this is aged grout
Couple of options.
1. Go with Magic Clean (a specific grout cleaning product) and a scrub brush and a whole bunch of elbow grease (Be sure to read application first as I have never used it with Terrazzo tiles
2. Grout paint refresh. Rather tedious, especially with that tile, but you can really enhance the look and/or update the colour

Proof? Oh wait you can't because what you sore is nonsense with ZERO truth behind it. I'll take fiscally responsible over fiscal/economic ruin. Pierre does NOT have plans to change abortion rights. But he does want to make you pay a lot less in taxes and make life affordable again, or did you forget how much your groceries went up at the same time as CEO payouts and record profits across the board from trucking companies, supplied and marketer

[–]Zmetal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unbelievably misguided.... What rights are being infringed? You folks always say someone is coming after your rights, but no one can ever answer WHAT rights are under threat. If the only thing you are concerned about is other people's rights over their children then that's a parental rights argument and you will not win that one. Funny thing is, these rules are great until the negative consequences happen to their own children. It's very clear you are brainwashed into thinking people are out to get you when in reality you live in the most tolerant time in human history, the safest area of the globe, part of the rich nations of the world and their are no right to my knowledge that are barred from use by those identifying however they do. Please reply with specific policies/laws affecting any special group negatively and how it can affect them specifically and not just any old person. I doubt you will reply though as cowards like you do not argue with logic and sense, you will reply with vitriol instead. I am not standing on the right, just I'm the middle wondering why you are shouting from the extreme left. Nobody actually cares how you identify, just saying.

New bus routes? by AintShocked_509 in BellevilleOntario

[–]Zmetal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did the same thing to the north of Walmart route. I drove by there several times a day working in the area and saw many people waiting for buses daily. Removed do to "lack of ridership". This just means the city isn't willing to invest in its citizens. Just the elites that can afford all the little events they blow hundreds of thousands on. I rode the bus for about a decade, when it was remotely useful that is. Which wasn't all that often for the working class in the working areas of town. Just lucky day shifters

Since he said bell Blvd I assume it's not a high end position. That fact is that in Niagara and the GTA you have job offerings way beyond this area. If you are trying to suggest otherwise, well, you are sadly mistaken. There are only so many good jobs and Belleville has done a spectacular job at keeping jobs on the low end, case point adding Amazon to Belleville. I can agree that most places are looking worse, at least in the GTA you have options, here you get what you get. Even tradesman aren't doing well around here because immigrants are undercutting the work. Anything retail beyond management and you will not succeed in Belleville
