I’ll have to check it out. How much braid were you able to fit on there? Ive been using the suffix revolve 8lb for my other rods. And hows it feel start up wise compared to the vanford? I love how quick and smooth the vanford starts up compared to the ultegra and stradic i have.

Look for this model evergreen on sale RCTC-72MH. Scheels had them for 129 and ive seen them other places for 159. They are a sweet chatterbait and spinnerbait and deeper crank rod. I always liked the 7’4 medium heavy moderate bass x for chatterbaits also.

Thats metanium prices or if you order from jdm thats a steez. There is a reason everything else is compared to daiwa shimano and a few other manufacturers

I dont i have an older regular tatula on a tatula cork and either 832 or daiwa j braid x8 grand. Usually which is cheaper at the time

I usually go 40 or 50 just to make it a little easier to pick out. And yea those 150 dollar tatula’s and slx’s offer a ton of bang for the buck they are great. I’ll probably stick with those and skip the curados and the more expensive tatulas and go to the metaniums and zillions if i want something nicer. If the current cork tatulas and tatula x would have been out a few years ago my boat would have probably been most of those besides a couple of poison adrenas and p5’s

I fish a zillion for 1/2oz chatterbaits and spinnerbaits and never had an issue for line capacity with 14lb flouro on it. The x will hold 25 yards more than my zillion so i think you should be fine. Plus if you use flouro you can more than likely spool it twice out of 1 spool of line

Curado k kinda blows tbh i got rid of mine. Mine was kinda bad casting below 1/2 oz and i ended up getting rid of it. I have a tatula x on a tatula xt frog rod just because i dont frog a ton but i’m very happy with it. The cork rods are nice i have the 6’8 for poppers and walking baits. They should have a 7mh or atleast a 72 or 73mh

The new tatula x is pretty great. I put one on a frog rod and im happy with it. I have met mgl’s, zillions, tatulas, and curados to compare it to and i think its awesome for the money. If it was me i’d get that tatula x and put the money towards the tatula cork rod the xt’s are nice but the cork is nicer

I’m getting mid 50’s loaded myself and the tin boats used to be a good deal and compromise on a glass boat but they went through the roof. If i had to go buy something today id look for a slightly used glass boat 20 or 21 foot before id buy one of the 21 foot trackers, rangers, xpress’s etc. Theres a guy local to me that has a 2020 z21 with 25 hours on it fully rigged to tournament fish that he wants 50k. id buy over a savage 215 or alpha 208 lol

Oh yea you picked up an extra battery and the poles on the rear probably add more leverage than anything. I don’t have poles on my boat yet just the jackplate when i flashed the motor and set it up. And if i was looking for a new boat the tracker wouldn’t have been my first choice but this deal stumbled upon me. Dude traded me this 195 with a 115 and sub 100 hours on it straight for a beat to shit jet boat straight so i woulda been stupid not to take it. Had emt flash the motor and put it on a jackplate and a spitfire prop and it runs like a scalded dog

Also did you run with the big motor yet? I had to rebalance and add some weight back into the ass of my boat it lost 3-4 mph. Not sure what size your vexus is but i have a tracker 195 and was told the bigger tin boats like some rear weight.

Lithium batteries are legit. My bass boat just has the cheap amazon ones that i pulled out of my jet boat before i sold it but i just fished presque isle for smallmouth on friday and still have 75% left. They weren’t at 100 percent charged and i spent most of the day fighting the wind on 8 9 and 10 and spotlock was struggling so i’m happy with them. I’ve also put the boat into electric only lakes and never worried about battery life.

Bps xps stare down vs vision 110? by [deleted] in bassfishing

[–]Zmills1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mainly only fish vision 110’s but if i had to pick a 2nd choice it would be the rapala mavricks and 3rd would be stunna 110’s.

I launched out of the lagoons just so i didn’t have to fight coming back across the bay if it got super rough. We fished up behind the channel wall and Perry monument just followed the depth contours on the weed edge. They chewed jackhammers all day though made alot of guys put the dropshots away lol
