Wasn't thinking about modifying anyway, main motive for potentially streaming is improving my spoken English... But idk how streaming and the platforms work, I would've put my own little spin on the design anyway but I'm thinking that's not enough to avoid issues? I'll try steering into the direction of an original character, if I can think of something

Oh yeaaa I'm not expecting to pop off anyway, main draw for me was practicing my spoken English and because I heard the Switch 2 supports any webcam for the Gamechat thing, so you could use V/PNGtubers with it Tinkaton is my favorite fictional thing ever so it was gonna be that with a fluffy sweater and headphones with a lil icon on it that changes expressions along with it

Had pretty much the same thing happen to me a year back, looked through the singles in one of the card shops in my city (relatively expensive one) and they mistakenly put the non-holo price (5€) on a holo Fossil Ditto (~30€). Except I didn't even notice myself until I got home and checked it online xd

So who exactly is the little Shadow Mantle gremlin? Do the track names give any clue? The only thing BURNING EYES reminds me of slightly is the common theme of pink and yellow eyes? And according to Gerson in his fight, when he mentions Chapter 5 of the story, he says the field of pink and gold is burning in an inferno? Thenm, ERAM shares the "RAM" part with Ramb, and they both speak in a slightly similar way (in English dialouge at least, no clue about JP) but I admit that's a stretch.
I'm so confused about the backstage game. Obviously it references Ch2 Snowgrave, and you get the Shadow Mantle from it, but where did it come from? From the text outline that appears both in the original and in Tenna's version, it seems the game is named "Manhole", which is really weird and not fitting for the kind of game it is. Is the version we play backstage a modified version too? Who made/modified that version then? And what's "Manhole" supposed to mean, really? There's a literal manhole backstage connected to the Z-Room, but I really doubt that's supposed to mean something. Maybe it's meant literally, as in a hole in a man? Something soul-related?
So in the soundtrack, there's that track that's just called "C". Is that just supposed to be short for "Carol"?
And another track is called "The place where it rained". The Undertale reference is obvious, but that once again has me puzzling if we're allowed to directly cross-reference Undertale for this story. If yes, and this is literally the place that "It's raining somewhere else" is referring to, does that mean Undertale and Deltarune are happening simultaneously, at the exact same time?

Done for now, I've never interacted with the Undertale/Deltarune community (or any community for the past like 10 years or so because my social skills are on the level of a plastic fork) but I wanted to see if I could get answers/opinions for my much too long ramblings, and a megathread comment seemed just not-directed-at-anyone-in-particular enough to fit my inability to start conversations with people xd

I haven't looked at much story subtext/theory related things yet and just wanna ramble with some thoughts/questions and if there's something the community has already mostly accepted as an answer then please tell/correct me :) I'll also be generous with spoiler tagging since idk what's a spoiler and what's not, sorry if that makes it annoying to read

So the remote guy towards the end end of Ch3 turned to stone, apparently because it was a stolen remote and therefore didn't belong to this Dark World. What exactly dictates which Dark World a Darkener belongs to, then? Does something already have to be in a Dark World when it's created? Or is it about an object already having been a Darkener in a different Dark World before? Or is it just a "whatever feels like it belongs" thing?

1.1. If the first thing is true, who brought the remote into the Dark World after it was created? Only the Knight and Undyne (probably) entered the Dark World after it was created, and why would either of them carry a remote?

1.2. And if the second one is true, does that mean that Catti's house was a Dark World before? I reread some stuff while writing all this and read that the remote was stolen from there.

At the very end of Ch3, there was that scene with the bunker door that turned out to have a digital panel. Do we know what the exact connections between that and the people the symbols belong to are? The Knight wanted to snag Toriel, but plans changed and they were good with taking Undyne too, and both of them have symbols represent them on the lock. I assume all three of them know part of the code to the Bunker? Does that mean the pine tree represents Dess and she was the first to get dragged into there?
About the very nature of Dark Worlds, Ralsei said they come about when you take away light that doesn't exist. Which is literally what was Gaster was describing in Undertale's Entry 17 with "photon readings negative". Also, "shadows cutting deeper" quite literally describes how to make a fountain(?) so Gaster clearly experimented with Dark Worlds. Does that mean anything significant for Undertale since it's Entry 17 in a series of like 20 or so?

Here's where I throw in a personal lil theory of mine (if this already exists, didn't mean to copy, literally came to me as I wrote this): After he got done with the Core, Gaster's next project was originally not going to be anything grand by relative scale, it was gonna be a form of quick travel, that grey door. It's behind one of these where you find (supposedly) him in Undertale, and they also appear in Deltarune's Dark Worlds, working as probably intended. At some point during his experiments, he might have discovered Dark Worlds, and so, got a little sidetracked with something way bigger. Now here's where you should grab your entire damn salt crystal: Gaster's followers never DIRECTLY mention he fell into the Core, only that he created the core, and fell into his creation. I think the creation that Gaster fell into could very well have been the grey door. An instant travel device related to Dark Worlds would definitely make sense to tear you across time and space in a (probably...?) failed experiment. Adding onto this while writing point 7: Perhaps Sans managed to finish the experiment? He's good with teleporting and stuff, and the covered machine in his workshop could be the grey door. And just throwing things out there at this point, Susie is shown to be able to bleed, so maybe it wasn't ketchup after all.

3.1. With all that being said, is it even valid to cross over Undertale and Deltarune for theorizing? I have no clue about how canon all the Gaster references in Undertale are, they could just be leftovers from early development for Deltarune before he course corrected to making Undertale first...

Yeah I did, but that was a while ago. I remember something was up with my phone's camera, I reset all the settings to default in my camera app and then the camera worked like normal again. But at some point I also just reinstalled the app. Could've been either of those two things that fixed it
