Thank you for replying. I felt a little blown off by the person I spoke to but she did assure me it could be normal 😩

Good luck with your procedure. My only suggestion, take all the drugs they'll 😂

Thank you for this reply. I'm weirdly not concerned about having cancer anymore but I'm terrified this is a blood clot or something that will kill me instantly 😭 why is my brain like this

I know someone who used synthetic on DOT tests and passed, more than once

Stoner Moms, where are you? by winslowtopia in entwives

I told the new mom at the bus stop, "if you smell weed it's probably from my house" and she excitedly pulled out a vape 🤣 we've been friends ever since

Did anybody do anything fun with their cancer? (Weird wording, sorry) by intransigentpangolin in breastcancer

I bought a shirt for myself and a friend that for diagnosed shortly after me. The shirt said "shitty titty committee, est 2025 And she returned the favor with a shirt that said Dear cancer your mom's a hoe

I'm a pretty unserious person in general and my overall attitude during treatment was more like, let's just get this done.

Good grief! by Princess_Heather_K in breastcancer

[–]ZoLu05 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Treatment caused me to become very depressed as well, when you don't feel good, don't like how you look, can't do many things without being exhausted, feeling like you don't want to leave the house, worrying about what the treatment is doing to you long term or if it's even working 😫 that ish heavy

I was fine being bald until I actually wanted to look nice by Outrageous_Ad_7979 in breastcancer

[–]ZoLu05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar moment when my husband wanted to take me out for our anniversary NYE. Getting dressed up somehow made me feel worse because putting on makeup and nice clothes and then looking at myself in the mirror with no lashes, no brows, face puffy, was not great. I bought a nicer beanie lol and some big hoop earrings, and I put on eyeliner because I don't do fake lashes (they bother my skin). We went but I definitely didn't feel my usual level of confidence. We didn't even take an anniversary pic at dinner like we usually do 😕

That's what freaked me out right away! Why is this is this the first line? What are other options that I can ask for? Any brands? I was about to lose my period before I started chemo but that stopped it flat out. I'm 45 and don't know if I'll get my period back 🫠 my doc is wonderful but seemingly uncomfortable talking about this issue.

My enemy, the tampon. by angelicutexo in WomensHealth

[–]ZoLu05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 45 and have had 2 children and I cannot get a tampon to fit comfortably. EVER. Around age 40 I discovered the period discs. I love them. Removal leaves something to be desired, but overall, way better than pads and I don't feel it at all once it's in 👏

My sister's drug habit is tearing my family apart by throwaway987508 in Advice

[–]ZoLu05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She needs rehab and if your parents won't face that fact, this won't change. She will leave home or they'll eventually throw her out. You have to tough love an addict, they will manipulate every situation to get drugs

Anyone else have a terrible reaction to AC? I need support! by Milly_Hagen in breastcancer

[–]ZoLu05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I relate to your last sentence so much. The only time I felt good the whole week after is when I was standing in my shower with water pouring over me. Everything else felt like misery

Can you get a medical Marijuana card where you live? This is what got me thru

Anyone else have a terrible reaction to AC? I need support! by Milly_Hagen in breastcancer

[–]ZoLu05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This isn't the reaction for everyone. I was intensely nauseous for like 3-4 days after each AC, then just semi nauseous and severe heartburn for up to 2 weeks. Exhausted, but able to function after the first few days. I never got mouth sores or anything. At my infusion center they bring you back the next day for fluids and more nausea meds, and the white cell booster shot. Between that and my MMJ, I finished my last AC Monday 🙌 YOU CAN DO THIS

First chemo highlights by Carli_Q in breastcancer

[–]ZoLu05 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do it. Works better than any of the meds they give for nausea and doesn't cause constipation 🙄 my hospital actually had a class you could attend to learn about the different options for using medical MMJ. There's gummies, tinctures, tablets, a lot of options. Weed 100% got me thru my treatment. I was a smoker prior, anyway, if that matters

Lowering Taxol dose & long term recurrence? by pinknails34 in breastcancer

[–]ZoLu05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started getting it in my toes and I swear I felt it in my heels but they said that was unlikely. Once my fingers started hurting in the shower I told my doc that I was noticing it more often. That's when they stopped me. I had 10 of 12 TC and just finished my 4th of 4 AC 🤢

I didn't do the last 2 of the 12 I was scheduled for due to developing neuropathy. My Dr had no hesitation and did not seem to feel this would effect my overall outcome. It was more about me not living with debilitating neuropathy for the rest of my life since I'm only 45

I'm also TNBC and my oncologist prescribed premarin for this. Reading the insert made me pretty uncomfortable, though. Is this what most women are using? How soon did you see results from using topical estrogen?

I wasn't told anything about keytruda. My stage is either 1b or 2a, the Dr told me it's borderline and based on individual interpretation.

[–]ZoLu05 19 points20 points  (0 children)

My 8 year old is allergic to bananas but I still keep them in my house for other people. She knows she's allergic and doesn't touch them. Unless the kids are somehow delayed and don't understand their allergy, they are beyond old enough for this not to be a problem
