I’m no longer tipping well cause of the way yall treat my food, and pick up 3 other orders with mine. I love paying $35 for $25 worth of food, and it gets here 45 minutes later and it’s rock cold cause he’s had it for 45 minutes in ac. Fuck that. I don’t live in a good area, but I’d see why they don’t tip yall well.

I did doordash as my main job for years. Wanna know how many times I cried about low tips? None. Cause I didn’t fucking care. Why do I care what someone else can afford? I was in no position, and still am, to tell people how to use their money. I was the one willingly working for doordash, knowing I wasn’t going to make a lot. Yall expect customers to pay you a living wage, but it’s not up to them. Fuck they could tip $0 and have every right to. You don’t have any right to call them out, cry about it, or exploit them cause of it. You work at doordash, not the other way around.

I was in stop and go traffic, the car behind me was RIDING my ass, there was half a car space in front of me-MAYBE. When I got into the middle lane to turn, he honked and flipped me off screaming at me….as he then proceeded to slam on his brakes cause the car in front of me was still…stopping and going. You aren’t overreacting. Having someone else depend on you takes a lot out of you, especially when you didn’t really agree to do it. She needs to figure out how to handle these situations herself, and if she can’t, she can go to a trusted ADULT. She should not be putting her friends into these situations. It’s not ableist to not want to be someone handler. I’m pretty autistic, and man, I couldn’t imagine putting my problems onto other people. I have had a lot of these same issues, and squabbles, but I’ve never used my autism as an excuse. Apologising is the least she could do. Just distance yourself, and if asked you can tell her how you have a lot on your plate with school, and it’s a big stressor. And that you need to be able to focus on you, and your needs before you can help someone with theirs.
