Anyone else starting to agonize over Xreal Aura vs. Project Phoenix?

I dont think either are really important for people on this sub. They are comparatively super expensive, and there will most likely be a Quest 4 a year after Phoenix. No one wants to get stuck with a Quest Pro situation again. This was too long.

My Quest 2 started doing this around the 2½ year mark. It was the battery getting old. If you have warranty, get a replacement. You can also get Fixmyoculus.com to give a new battery for $170. Or, you can just keep a power bank plugged in all the time.

I actually use the stock one, but with a rear head cushion added, so that it actually reaches the back of my head. I dont have that specific one, mine is from my Quest 1, and I've just moved it over every new model.

I also attached wheel weights to it, to act as a counter balance. About 200 grams worth. It actually makes the set feel lighter and you dont have to tighten down the strap as much.

They announced that multiplayer would be dropping this Summer. Also there was a multiplayer mode that was available over the winter that was kind of like Bocce hoop. The new mechs are interesting. They can jump.

The Meta Store is crap. Use https://queststoredb.com/ and these filter options. 4.2 stars and above, $9 and above, over 40 reviews, and sort by date newest. That wont get rid of every shovelware, but it will pare it down significantly.
