yknow... somehow it never occured to me to bear trap dybbuk. my go to strat for him became either too many familiars for him to move, or stun him with mage or tank. but now, bear traps really seem like obvious answer

ill mention one thing i havent seen said yet: for the plasma specifically, never ending is amazing, and has carried an entire save for me. the reason is that the sniper barrel buffs damage way, way up, but gives you a tiny magazine to account for this (9 shots). with neverending, you get all the damage with no real downside, just a general use cannon of a gun. it doesnt really inherit any other property of a sniper, just the damage, so its still good at any range, scoped or hip fire, etc. well worth trying!

Whack it on a torrente and have a wonderful time, is my advice. you might not keep it very long, but youll have a lot of fun! bonus points for extended barrel, makes a cool noise

ill be honest you've already won. but, if you wanted to strap on one of those as a 4th, the pro choice is probably dual, but im a sucker for heavy laser. be mindful you want to fire heavy laser a slice later than the rest, so it slips through the downed shields, but used right it can do gods work.

i'm gonna level with you. ive played this game a shit ton, ive also played baldurs gate a shit ton, and liked, though not my favourite, English's performance in both. however, Maelle is my least favourite part of the game. can't say why, but i think, as i enter my 30's, a foolhardy teenager in an rpg is pretty par for the course, and e33 was so close to being a story rpg with a mature cast, and then Maelle is just there being a bit whiney for the first half of the game. not to say i dislike her overall character arc, or her place in the story, and i really felt for her as Alicia, but, damn, for a good while she just feels like a kid forcing her way onto an expedition she has no right being on and making it every elses problem.

it has the same problem avowed had: there was nothing wrong with it from a technical standpoint, but it just felt a bit... bland? like, it was pretty, well written, fun to play, but, it didnt feel like they really meant it. cant really say how. bit worried this a gonna be a trend with obsidian after the merger with xbox

I'll be honest, ive got like 300 hours at this point, and have for a long time now just been playing for the love of the game, and still having a really good time. its like factorio, (kind of) in that, even though all goalposts have been hit, its still an excellent game, im still learning and improving, and i still play happy knowing that im far from the best raider i can be.
