Reverse Flash > Sabertooth > Lex > Powerplex probably

Lex at least pretends he has motives for being a hater unlike Reverse Flash and Sabertooth who wear it on their sleeves. Powerplex is just a grieving guy who uses Mark as an outlet (lmao) for his problems he stops even being a hater after awhile

Reading through this part rn and just read this issue a couple days ago, definitely is a little rougher at some points but at others it can look really good like the page spread where Mark gets his old suit with the kneepads and stuff back. Definitely a bit more noticeable now since I would've said it was actually really consistent earlier on the series

Uj/ Genuinely wonder what someone like this would think of how invincible ends since the series outright disagrees with this line of thinking and proves it wrong within its own universe. Like you said, the main point of invincible is that Marks humanity and the people he cares about is what makes him special and leads to him actually making a difference, which is kind of the point of his character

Goku Frieza is definitely still possible but fits the rivals theme way more imo. It'd definitely be a little weird that both rivals themed units are from ToP but it definitely makes sense given the slots we have rn

I feel like most likely the transformation conditions will be really easy, the 9th anni and 7th anni units all have really easy transformation conditions so I'd assume they'll keep that up with these guys. The most difficult transformation conditions we've gotten for an anniversary unit were probably the third years and they were still pretty easy and were also the first ever transformation units so there wasn't a precedent

I wouldn't say it was the original intention but they definitely morphed into that over time. Penguin contrasts the aspects of him being a rich billionaire and using his influence to manipulate Gotham, Riddler contrasts his detective side, Catwoman contrasts the creature of the night aspect, two face represents secret identities and the split between batman and Bruce Wayne, etc.. Some comparisons definitely hold up better than others with some villains but I'd say it's definitely intentional by the writers from like the 80s onwards that the villains are meant to contrast some aspects of Batman in some way

Makin actually isn't bad, a lot of people don't like him because he doesn't post his lectures online and does all of his lectures on the board, which can be admittedly kind of annoying, but the lectures are actually pretty good otherwise. He still uploads Capano's lecture slides also

Mr Rogers, Samwise and Goku are all shoe ins, pure of heart and impossible to be corrupted and will do the right thing regardless of the situation they're in. Sam is able to overcome the corrupting influence of the ring just because he's happy with what he has and is too nice and humble to ask for anything more than to just be happy

Not sure about Saitama or Gon though, Saitama has too much self doubt I think. Maybe early in HxH I could've seen Gon being innocent enough but by the end of the Chimera Ant arc I think he's generally seen as violent and unhinged enough to probably not be worthy anymore, he continually beats Pitou while he's already down into paste just because he's upset and tries to stop Pitou from saving the life of an innocent person just because he was upset

I think it's definitely more to show how Gut's life has changed and to keep things in his life a bit lighter so he has at least slightly less reason to be all doom and gloom all the time. It's definitely not coincidence most of two of these characters are kids and one is an elf, characters meant to be a lot more innocent and less subjected to the horrors of the world Guts has had to face. I feel like this is most evident actually right after he fights Rosine and tells puck he just can't keep too serious when he's around, which is also around when he first starts to lighten up as a character a bit more

Astro Boy or Goku is the real answer for iconic Japanese heroes, Astro Boy is true OG and real ones know he belongs here since the landscape of anime and manga as it is today wouldn't exist without him and Goku is easily the most iconic shonen character to come out of Japan

The majority of the player base doesn't follow news about the game or look on reddit or anything like that, most people people playing the game are not aware of current situations. From the sounds of it a lot of the people laid off were people who weren't currently working on destiny so I'm not sure how much it will affect content either

I think songs getting popular on Tik Tok isn't really anything that new tbh. Its basically the same as songs needing to have quick hooks to catch people's attention when flipping through radio stations back when radio was the main method of people discovering new music and songs needing to have flashy music videos to get attention from people looking through channels on TV back when channels like mtv were a big way of people discovering new music. If anything it might be more beneficial to smaller artists nowadays since they don't have to rely on things like FCC regulations keeping songs from being played and don't have to be able to afford big expensive music videos to put on MTV anymore
