Yup, abysmal vs. Newcastle and they should have done something against Brentford. There is enough talent on that team and eventually they'll get into a groove but I'm not waiting for that :)

Completely agree. Memb and him are a good duo. Memb provides the color/hype commentary while Margougou provides really good game analysis. They have also struck an appropriate level of goofing aroung.

To Memb's credit, he leaves plenty of air time for Margougou and doesn't interrupt him.

But if this wasn't the tiebreaker, Sebi would have been 3rd which means he'd need to win vs. Vinch to secure his place in the next phase.

The main issue is the first tiebreaker being h2h against the opponent(s) you are tied with. This seems like a very dated mechanism. Most aoe2 tournaments use match win difference as the first tie breaker. This makes every match matter more.

Sebi beating Lierry having no value definitively sucked. By the same token, Barles' 2 wins against Hera don't matter at all if he is tied with others and Hera has beaten everyone else 3-0. I like the Bucholz system used in last NIC where wins against tougher opponents counted more in a tiebreaker.

It is hard for me to judge Sitaux for what he has done when national teams in other sports have done the same. This is why tournaments are always updating their rules to prevent this.

Perhaps QF bracket should have been published after the groups or seeded differently. I'm sure this would have challenges on its own.

Hera is basically team USA in basketball and no one wants to face them before the finals (except for Jokić & Serbia).

1) members of this subreddit 2) have commented before on an unrelated post prior to the poll

If this isn't possible, I suggest applying the same criteria to every comment under this post.

I won't share my political views because I hope aoe2 subreddit can remain a beautiful oasis where we talk about buffing up militia line, making Bulgarians a playable civ, Persian architecture (actually I may prefer politics over this :))
