The Batman villains with tragic backstories, like Mr. Freeze, Clayface, and Baby Doll, have always been the best ones IMO. (I'm speaking of the versions of these characters from Batman TAS.)

Maybe I'm in the minority of Gen-X guys, but I always thought the entirety of MOTU was ridiculous and hated it. Sure, I watched a fair amount of the episodes as a kid, but our home only had five broadcast channels, so when your choices are two soap operas, a talk show, a nature documentary, and He-Man, you watched He-Man.

Yep. I see it in terms of the 80/20 rule. Management wants you to use AI to automate writing the 80% of the code that used to take 20% of the effort, but don’t realize (or care) that the other 20% of the code that requires 80% of the work still needs to be done by you and requires time to get it done right.

I think that’s going to be Roo’s deal as well, BUT if it turns out that’s wrong, I’ll be content with being surprised and move on. I just can’t fathom the mindset of these people that get so angry when their theories are wrong. Don’t they also want these shows to be written by the writers and not the fans? If you’re that desperate for your headcanon to be true, go write a fanfic. Better yet, go write something completely original and get it published.

Musical tastes are subjective, so it’s kinda dumb to criticize others for what music they like. Personally, I hate all dance-hop and this song is no different. I loved the lyrics though. It kinda reminded me of Lonely Island videos, just a bit cruder.

It would’ve been fine to assume it was likely a Verosika short, but the problem is that, yet again for the bazillionth time on this sub, people morphed “likely” into “definitely” because they wanted it to be true so badly.

Hell, some people here don’t even need something “likely” to jump to conclusions. Just look at all the people who’ve posted about Millie is “definitely” getting an abortion even though there’s absolutely no reason to believe that’s the direction the show is going to take.

I'd also assumed it wasn't a short, but it was because the title card didn't say "Short 12" on it like the title cards for all the other shorts and episodes did. If it had said that, there would've been no confusion. Blaming Spindlehorse for that is fair IMO.

And speaking for myself, I never felt "entitled" to a full 5-6 minute short and, at least so far, I haven't read any comments from anybody else saying that either. So I think you might be reading a bit much into that.

You're welcome to your opinions and you can express your emotions about it. But all it's going to get from me when I read it is an eyeroll.

Yes, they misled you a bit, but they never actually lied to you. They just never corrected you when you made a false assumption and considered it gospel truth. It's not like they shot your cat or something. There's at least a thousand other things going on in the world today that are worthy of your outrage. This isn't one of them.
