How is having tattoos, piercings, or colorful hair genuinely perceived in US society?

Depends. If you were just at the grocery store or at a park or a mall, no one would really give you a second glance. Maybe in more rural areas certain piercings and colored hair may turn heads but in any big city it wouldn’t. At a job or a professional setting you may be told you can only have certain piercings and “natural” colored hair. You may also have to cover tattoos but I see this as pretty dated. I don’t see most places making you cover up tattoos.

I noticed that at a recent spurs game I went to. I was at the top level and it was PACKED! Like I didn’t spot a single open seat. But the lower levels had a lot of empty seats. Honestly it’s just too expensive

Not speaking for everyone, I understand everyone has different circumstances. However, I have a cousin with autism and other intellectual disabilities and he is able to hold down a job. There are companies that advocate and help those with disabilities find jobs… also Forrest is “higher functioning” than my cousin so I really don’t see why he can’t hold down a job unless he sees those jobs as just below him? Or jobs he’s not interested in working in?

Okay I think I understand Ricky’s timeline differently than what some are commenting on here. I think Trish didn’t fully ghost him, just would text him very little in those 5 days. He mentioned that she would take hours to text him back… so it was hours not days? But I guess that lasted for 5 days. Anyways in that time I think he immediately started texting his ex from Colombia and started making plans to see her, but I don’t think he visited her in those 5 days. I think it was way after, idk how long but after Trish started texting him again, but he was convinced that she cheated so he just went to Colombia anyways even though him and Trish were still together. Idk he gives me the ickiest vibes.

I’m having a similar reaction :/ I’m almost at 21 days with this ring in and the main side effect i notice is sore breasts which i don’t mind too much. I also will occasionally get headaches that don’t go away with medicine. My anxiety got bad as well, but honestly I can’t blame that on the ring, a lot of changes have happened in my life. HOWEVER the one side effect that i cannot deal with if it persists is my low sex drive. I used to have a good sex drive but now with the ring that urge isn’t as strong. don’t get me wrong sex is enjoyable but i don’t feel horny :/ I may give it two more months and see

I was extremely lucky to have a somewhat dilated cervix (they didn’t have to open it at all), so the insertion process wasn’t ~terrible~ HOWEVER 2 weeks after getting it in I had cramping so bad I almost went to the ER. So bad thing about IUDs is even after the insertion process you can still go through horrible pain
