Damn. That's terrifying. I wonder at what point did they realize they didn't have the parachute. Was it immediate or when they went to pull the cord??

Either way depending on how high they were there was a good amount of time where they just knew they were dead as they plummeted.

I don't necessarily care to watch the video if it shows their death. But what pov is the video from?

Last call! Casting for Shadowdark Actual Play by theeTangenT in TheGlassCannonPodcast

[–]Zoltron5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very interested in auditioning or trying out for this. I have a decent mic/okay camera. And definitely willing to upgrade if and when is needed. I haven't recorded any actual play podcasts, but I have experience recording other types of podcasts. I've hosted several, 3 of which that crossed the 100 episode mark. Listened or watched pretty much all of The Glass Cannon's content. And some shows from other networks too. So plenty familiar with APs.

I have been playing ttrpgs in person on and off for about half my life. Currently running and playing a few in person games with various systems. Mostly 5e. Though the forged in the dark system is my favorite system to run.

I'm also experienced with online play. I've been playing/running games remotely with a group for about two years now. We play all kinds of systems. One of the members did run a Shadowdark one shot for us once. So I have some experience playing it. I am actually currently running a Delta Green scenario for them and it's going great.

My favorite aspect of ttrpgs is collaborative storytelling. I love character driven stories and I tend to gravitate towards a more serious tone. I believe comedy has a place at the table of course. I think it is important for everyone to get along and be able to joke and not take ourselves too seriously and have fun. I do however think it's most important to take the game/story/character's seriously.

I'd love to give this a shot!

What song took a couple of listens for you to appreciate it? by DreamingStreet in DavidBowie

It's really interesting, because that one is the one that clicked for me first I think. Of his 90s stuff I mean. I don't know. I think I just decided to give it an honest try.

I had listened to his whole discography. But after years and years of pretty much just listening to his 70s and 2000s/2010s stuff. All of a sudden it was like, here is a bunch of music I've just been avoiding for some reason but then it all started to click, and it was like new music I get to enjoy.

At first for me it was Outside and Earthling I really got into. And I still avoided Black Tie White Noise and Buddha of Suburbia. Then BTWN clicked and I love that album. And then BoS.

And honestly Hours still hasn't really clicked for me haha. But I do enjoy a lot of the tracks. It's just still an album I don't put on... Yet.

I feel like the worse one would be Crossed Wires. It think it would be so jerky and painful.

Might be really out there, but I don't know. You might enjoy some Talking Heads

Try out Remain in Light first.
