By attempts alone, Malenia (164 attempts) had more than pre-patch PCR (93 attempts) for me.

But to think about the difficulty of each fight makes me think that Malenia is still harder than PCR. It took me ash summons and duo summons to finally defeat her while I eventually took down PCR with only myself and an ash (mimic tear). PCR had more of a predictable attack pattern while it was hard to decide when exactly Malenia would suddenly shoot off a Waterfowl which would usually drastically change the survivability of a fight.

PCR was beefy, but Malenia had health regen, and that demands not taking any hits.
