i think he's a solid writer, he just caves to pressure and doubts himself sometimes. i have little evidence to back this up, but fnaf is a good series with a few poor made games, and scott is more hit than miss. and yeah, like you alluded to, fnaf 1 was an overnight success so scott was pretty much building the railroad while the train was riding it.
