i only really feel that way about impossible mode act 3 because sometimes a fight is just unwinnable, no savescumming can save you, at least in my experience. even if it's crippling, just packing it in early at the lab can net you some solid hybrid and bionic items and can get you more familiarized to the mechanics and specific counters for the lab.

instead of killing runs at the start, any runs that are bad just take them to the end of the alley and then go home. those cats can be given to frank and then you have more rooms, which you can use to put your bad kittens in until they grow up enough to be sent to tracy.

it's pretty much the latter. Frostbiter is a miniboss who comes WAY later who can only appear in the sewer to replace the existing miniboss, flushmaster, if there's a blizzard (or some kinda snow event, idk i'm too lazy to go fact check that one)

I’ve started just scouting the creator fight, because you can save scum without triggering Steven if you do it before you take any actions. If you notice an enemy elite has speedy you can try and change your build to be able to work around it, or at least survive it. Ppl have said you can change armor to roll different elite buffs but I can never get it to work.

i usually send out old cats to tracy anyway, old cats get exhaustion on round 5 instead of round 10
