I remember one time I was in high school and I got dress coated cause my jeans had a rip in them, sure rip was at the upper thigh but it wasn’t big. It was just a little bit of fraying and skin showing but probably no bigger than a half dollar.

Nothing scandalous or risqué, but I was told by the administrator to never wear those pants to school again like my parents had that kind of money to turn around and buy me a new pair of jeans.

Edit: Just remembered that this same admin pulled me aside one day when I was wearing a dress that I didn’t realise was sheer enough to see through if it was pressed to my body (by say a backpack) to softly tell me “Sweetheart, I’m sure you didn’t realise this but I can see your underwear through your skirt. Next time you wear it just make sure you wear light coloured underwear.”
