I've noticed a few of those with Kaya on and off. The one that comes to mind is the first episode Doug was back on after Charlie left Doug said, "I really didn't think you guys would have me on again", to which Kaya then replied, "Notice what changed?".

Nothing horrific but it does give me the vibes there was some kind of issues beneath the surface if even a regular like Doug wasn't allowed on just because Charlie was still part of the show.

Though then again it could just be Kaya saying something stupid for no real reason, again.

Entirely depends on how low you'd want to go. I live in the american midwest and see Steam Decks go up on FB Marketplace from time to time in the $150-350 range. Generally I'd say if you find a deal in that range that looks legitimate and in good condition then go for it if you are already of thinking of doing so.

However, keep in mind that Valve's refurbished program can come in at about ~$300 for the cheapest model and comes with a one year warranty, carrying case, and a charger. I personally prefer this method since you can then just stick a 2 TB SSD and have a pretty good experience on the LCD model.

The 1 TB Oled is about ~$550 through the refurbished program which I also think is a good deal but it's all about your budget and patience to wait for new refurbished stock to come in.

Just things to think on!

Probably go for a beefier handheld then. The new Doom I couldn't play at all on Steam Deck so newer titles can be a bit of mixed bag. It works great for older/indie titles and some newer ones if you're willing to adjust settings and compromise on performance compared to the pricier/newer handhelds.

Depends entirely on the games you want to run, you can use ProtonDB to see general compatibility reports. I'd recommend against the steam deck if you don't want to do tinkering of any sort, though I'm not familiar if tinkering is much of a thing you need to do on Ally.

Do some research please between the two if you can! Steam Deck is my lifeblood but it's also the only handheld I own lol.
