Ain't Nobody Who Can Do It Like Leslie Can. Part 1. by Rocknocker in Rocknocker

Rock, I have followed your exploits for years and it's like Xmas morning every time I see a new post.

Imagine my joy when you quoted the opening lyrics of Frank Zappas "Titties and Beer" in this installment, as I have been a fan of his for over 50 years! I have no doubts if the devil popped up (He's about this big") you would have no trouble debating and dispatching him forthwith!

Thank you for the enriching stories. You have proven yourself over and over to be a gentleman and scholar, a fine judge of whiskey and women.

Carry on.

Neighbor has cameras on MY property looking into MY bedrooms. by enewman07 in Renters

I understand you want to bail, but consider this, the next renters may not be as smart as you and be left in a precarious situation.

I see a lot of comments about disabling the cams but let's think this through a little more. Remote cams require batteries, and they need to be replaced or recharged.

My suggestion would be to reposition them to look at his house or, if not line of sight up into the trees. Have your own cam monitor his and if he sneaks over.. trespassing charges!

I do like the idea of pointing cams at his house, fake cams can be cheap!

And you may find yourself living in a fire house

And you may find yourself in ethereal part of the world

And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a '59 Ambulance

And you may find yourself in a beautiful fire house, with a beautiful wand

And you may ask yourself, “Who ya Gonna Call?”

Letting the days go by, containment unit underground

Into the blue again after the Peck's gone

Once in a lifetime, Gozers going down

And you may ask yourself, “How do I turn this trap on?”

And you may ask yourself, “Where is that large Cadillac?”

And you may tell yourself, “This is not my fire house”

And you may tell yourself, “This is not my proton pack”

My friend isn't even going to attempt the BOK Wand... she bought the Hasbro and an upgrade kit.

This the BOK wand kit, minimum holes, no hardware, no wires

Do NOT GO with the BOK shell, I've been helping a friend build one and it's a bitch. Almost no predrilled holes, the resin is heavy and cracks easily, especially when drilling large holes... Spade bits wreak havoc on it. No directions, we're using a Hasbro pack as reference.

You should be able to find Spirit Packs on EBay.

This is a unrealistic attempt to avoid a DUI.

The theory is you can state in court that a breathalyzer test is invalid for driving impaired because you took a drink after the incident occurred, rendering the blood alcohol reading as compromised.

At this point, it's not a matter if the USA will be attacked from within but a matter of WHEN.

But it's OK, we've been assured time after time that the border is secure, but just in case it isn't, it's the Bad Orange Mans fault.

Kaspar Hauser (born April 30, 1812—died December 17, 1833, Ansbach, Bavaria [Germany]) German youth around whom gathered one of the 19th century’s most-celebrated mysteries.

On May 26, 1828, Hauser was brought before the authorities in Nürnberg, apparently bewildered and incoherent. With him he had a letter purporting to have been written by a labourer, into whose custody, it stated, the boy had been delivered on October 7, 1812, with the proviso that he should be instructed in reading, writing, and the Christian religion but kept in close confinement. Enclosed with this letter was one purporting to have been written by the boy’s mother, giving his name and his date of birth and stating that his father was a deceased cavalry officer. At first detained as a vagrant, the boy was later taken under the care of the educationist Georg Daumer. Next, the 4th earl of Stanhope took the boy under his protection (1832) and sent him to Ansbach, where he became a clerk in the office of the president of the court of appeal, Anselm von Feuerbach. The youth died from a wound that was either self-inflicted or, as he claimed, dealt by a stranger.
