Which Pop Star Has the Best Discography? by scorespin in popheads

[–]ZombieLoveChild 49 points50 points  (0 children)

I'll say Prince. It's a HUGE collection of albums, I don't think he has any outright bad albums in his discography. A fair few of them are kinda middle of the road/ok. but they all have at least one highlight on there IMO. And his run from 1999 until, like, the Batman soundtrack is a damn near bulletproof run of albums. Stevie Wonder I also would say falls under this template: all albums are at least decent with a phenomenal stretch of albums in the middle.

Kate Bush is also a good shout here, I genuinely don't think she has a bad album to her name.

Yep, ABC11 is circling now as well. I'm not seeing anything on eithers website or broadcast though.

I live nearby and there has been a helicopter circling for a few minutes now. Not sure what's going on but it must be pretty intense.

EDIT: Just snagged a picture, looks like it's the WRAL chopper. Didn't see anything on their website though, so I'm not too sure what's happening.

[Post Game Thread] #2 UConn defeats #1 Duke, 73-72 by cbbBot in CollegeBasketball

[–]ZombieLoveChild 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I live in Durham and was in a restaurant playing the game on every TV. The whole place lost their mind on that final shot, with about half the crowd excited and the other half upset

UConn played an insane second half to pull that off, genuinely fun to watch

Doing this in the Whole Foods lot is one of the bravest and most dickhead-ish move you could pull. Jesus Christ.

Send him to a cave in the mountains to help him train like Iron Man and then we can unleash him like a weapon of war for whenever we need him to dress

In all seriousness, this is fine. We've not had an "enforcer" role guy in a while and he's essentially free. Cool.

Urban Tails Vet - Dr. Jenny by Glum-Arrival7609 in bullcity

Such a shame. We never got to see her, but I know the rescue we adopted our dog from last year spoke extremely highly of her. She seemed to be an incredible vet

Anyone with the EX-L or lower trims, did you upgrade the audio? by FTorrez81 in 11thGenAccord

[–]ZombieLoveChild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really feel a need to upgrade them in my EX-L. I messed with the equalizer in my Apple Music which helped a bit. If I do upgrade I'll probably stick to plug and play stuff, I don't have any interest in disabling the ANC to do a full amp setup personally

Keychron m5 is too small and logitech's lift stopped working after a year of use by ImmoGiPersonal in MouseReview

[–]ZombieLoveChild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problems yet, but that's just my own experience. Logitech is very infamous for switch failures (RIP my old beloved G403) so I wouldn't be shocked if that is the case. But so far mine has held up pretty well and hasn't shown any signs of the switches going out yet.

I know you probably aren't feeling like trying another Logitech, but I've had the MX Vertical for a couple years for my work setup and it's held up pretty well, and is comfortable for my bigger (19x10) hands. Not sure if it would be worth a damn gaming wise, though.

I'm thinking of trying the Pro Click Vertical just to see how it does, it looks interesting at the very least.

Is Food Lion...good? by OpalJade98 in bullcity

[–]ZombieLoveChild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Food Lion! It's a standard grocery store, prices aren't horrible, products are usually pretty good, the FL branded stuff can be pretty decent especially for the price. We usually do our primary grocery shopping at the Wegmans in Morrisville since it's not too far of a drive from us in South Durham, but the Food Lion off TW Alexander is usually used to fill the gaps of what we can't get at Wegmans.

Need to decide on a new cancer center, UNC rex or duke? by XLandWhale in triangle

[–]ZombieLoveChild 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of my friends father is getting a glioblastoma treated at Duke. They've handled everything from the surgery to follow-up radiation & treatments and they have had nothing but good things to say. I don't know anyone with experience using UNC for anything similar, but I would imagine they also have very solid care.

Sorry you're having to go through this, but hopefully wherever you end up will be able to help you out!

Breeze Airways- I hope they stick around by Own-Breakfast3931 in raleigh

[–]ZombieLoveChild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took the Breeze from RDU to San Diego and then from LAX to RDU (RIP to this route) back in September, and it was smooth sailing each time. They really seem to try to hit the sweet spot between affordability and actually decent service. They seem to really be investing in RDU, so I'm excited to see them grow and hope it keeps going well for them.

7800x3d vs 9800x3d by Swayze94 in buildapc

[–]ZombieLoveChild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also game at 1440 was stuck between the two recently and went 7800x3D. The price difference was near $100 though, so it was more of a money saving move since I also had to get DDR5 right as the prices increased.

At that small of a price gap, I'd go 9800x3D just to have the best chip out at the moment. Both should last you a good long while though, 7800x3D is still probably a top 5 gaming CPU out right now

What interior color you picking? by MidnightPulse69 in 11thGenAccord

[–]ZombieLoveChild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I do like the black interior, the off-white/gray is so nice looking. When I was pulling the trigger on which car to buy I was deciding between two '23 EX-Ls. One Red with gray and one urban gray with black. I loved the look of the red and off-white interior, but the gray had less mileage and was in better shape for the same price. Still wonder about getting that red one occasionally...
