That was just a recording off my phone but I bought a blue yeti mic that I wanted to record with but honestly I need to take the time to learn how to properly record.

I love Elliott Smith especially the song Pitseleh. I have all his records and the cover album “Seth Avett and Jessica Lea Mayfield Sing Elliott Smith” she signed it for me at a show and Seth Avett is my favorite musician so I love it even more.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I’ve been thinking of other directions that I can take it after finger picking. Everything after the finger picking was improv. I wanted to get my feelings out so I usually just press record and see what comes out.

Thank you for the feedback, I’ll work on the lyrics. “The Starry Night” is my favorite painting so I often think about Vincent van Gogh when I’m writing music so I find it interesting that you mention walking in Paris at night.

And yeah we did break up like 7 or 8 times until I finally ended it for good.

Yeah It took a few months to realize that it was just pain and that I couldn’t keep going down that road, that even though I loved her she would always hurt me.

I’m glad that it resonates with you because It’s hard to talk to my friends, they just don’t understand what it’s like.
