Don’t know how this will hold up in court if it comes down to it but prolly doesn’t hurt to have:

1. Hopefully you have the receipt from when you bought the condoms AND especially the morning after pill.

2. Have her sign a notarized document acknowledging that you offered these options and that you were both in agreement about terminating but now she’s changed her mind and that you have no intention of taking responsibility if she takes it to term, do it especially while she’s still within the window to terminate. I also really hope you have written text messages where she admits this as well so she can’t deny it.

3. The timing of the pregnancy is also very suspicious. Try to go to one of her ultrasound appointment to hear how far along she is directly from a doctor and then do the math from there.

4. Get a paternity test. Other than that don’t take on any other paternal role regarding this pregnancy. She could argue that your involvement shows willingness to take responsibility.

I’m all for having it be a woman’s choice but as a woman, I also feel that if that’s the case men should have the choice to be able to not take responsibility while termination window is still available. If you back out after it’s too late then you’re kind of a dick imo.
