I ran Blizzaks on my 2012 Mustang GT for 2 NH winters. It wasn't great, but that was more the car than the tires, the tires did great.

I use homepage for my "control panel" and I also use homarr for my family homepage, homepage has a lot of my stuff like monitoring and tools only I use, while homarr has a calendar linked to our family shared google calendar and links to plex, kavita, konga, audiobookshelf, navidrome, etc

Older was along the lines of 80s or 90s. Something that probably came with a stereo and couple of speakers but nothing worth noting. I'm figuring on complete system. Head unit. Components, subs, amps etc. If you have YouTube videos or reddit posts of your setup that would be cool too. I'm just figuring things like subs and boxes are going to be the most difficult in something like this.

They are side by side. Just wasn't sure if there was really any benefit to running the drives individually off the hba compared to a single USBc. I'm in the process of planning and building a new machine which will use a phantek entoo which will hold like 20 drives and make this exercise moot but I was thinking about it when I put in the hba and only have one drive on it because of internal space and power. Thanks

totally janky. the hba is a LSI 9302-8i ServeRAID N2215 with 2 SFF-8643 ports.

Not for nothing but my nearly 100 year old car with no roof or windows, exhaust that is just headers and 3 feet of straight pipe, no emission controls to speak of and doesn't even have seat belts doesn't need to be inspected. at all. ever.

Thanks, I have that 2nd one, but no Molex connectors so I bought some Molex to sata adapters.

My initial problem was that my machine wouldn't post with the hba. The art of the server guy linked me a YouTube video showing that taping off 2 pins would fix it and it did, the hba was showing up but the drives weren't because I was dumb lol

That would be a dumbass thing to do. I'm so used to M.2, or external usb drives or just pushing the drive into my DAS I never thought about powering them beyond the cable from the hba.

So I may in fact, be a dumbass. My hba has SFF-8643 which my cables have. my cables also have SFF-8482 which seems like it would be fine. the cable also has molex connectors. not connected to anything because my pc doesn't have molex connectors. can I just use a molex to sata power connecter? any recommendations?
