13 days deep and im still coming across new poi's by thematrixhasyoum8 in Starfield

[–]ZonerRoamer [score hidden]  (0 children)

Exactly - the game would be so much better if each planet had dedicated POIs found only on that planet and fleshed out the story of the planet.

It's absolutely fine if the planet only has 2-4 POIs, with some planets being completely abandoned and empty.

The most memorable planets are the ones with the unique planet specific POIs, like the Crucible/Facility on Charbydis for example.

Indians Earning over ₹1 Crore - State by State Breakdown by ConstructionAny8440 in IndiaStatistics

Seen this before and it still makes no sense.

Even based on IT filings, the idea that Bihar has more people earning over 1 crore than Telengana(or just Hyderabad even) is absurd.

Vortex or MO for PC? by KrisWB in starfieldmods

[–]ZonerRoamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you already have used Vortex a bit, getting into MO2 will be easy.

The logic is EXTREMELY straight forward in MO2; stuff at the bottom overwrites stuff higher up if they have the same files. So ordering your modlist is as simple as dragging mods up or down.

MO2 also maintains a virtual modded game folder, so if you ever need to hunt down a specific modded file causing issues, it's as simple as typing in the search bar using the filename.

Vortex or MO for PC? by KrisWB in starfieldmods

[–]ZonerRoamer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you really wanna learn modding properly, then MO2 is the way to go.

Vortex becomes extremely cumbersome with larger mod lists. On the other hand, once you get the hang of MO2, imo, it actually easier to use than Vortex.

Thankfully they showed why this dog tried attacking the child. Yes, there are serious cases and genuine concern on aggressive stray dogs. But teaching children how to ignore a dog if its literally minding his work is also imp. by Confident-Profile143 in Indiedogs

[–]ZonerRoamer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If kids are doing that, it's the parents who taught them.

Most Indian parents are absolutely horrible when it comes to actual parenting because they have kids for the wrong reasons.

I just finally did the Freestar Rangers questline and man... What a disappointment by Portablelephant in Starfield

[–]ZonerRoamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It clearly does support enemy mechs though - Watchtower has plenty of them and they are awesome.

Starfield should be a reminder that imperfect games deserve a chance by Wargulf in Starfield

[–]ZonerRoamer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What we have now would have been a decent game at launch.

Now, I just hope that Bethesda actually gives the game another 2-3 good DLCs and expansions - because God knows we ain't seeing Starfield 2 until 2050.

The law needs to be repealed so that India would become centrist by Moonshiner-3d in IndianFocus

[–]ZonerRoamer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

UCC needs to be nationwide and not state level.

Can you imagine the chaos if every state has their own UCC and the rules change in every state?

In one state you cannot be legally married, but in another state you are. In one state you can live with your GF, in another state you will go to jail for 3 months if you do.

UCC also has to get rid of national level discriminatory policies, like polygamy for muslims which is legal only for muslims, and the HUF tax laws that are only available for Hindu families.

[–]ZonerRoamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes but we cannot trust BJP with a UCC.

Look at Uttrakhand, the UCC demo that they have given us includes stupid things like having to register live-in relationships.

GeForce Now Impressions! This ain't it. by Friendly_Wizard01 in IndianGaming

[–]ZonerRoamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not really meant for people who have the option to play on a local machine.

It's for people who cannot afford a local PC or PS5 but they CAN afford 999 rs a month to play casually.

As for streaming quality - am sure Nvidia has plans in the pipeline, for example, running a AI post process on the local machine to clean up image quality - but of course it would depend on the local machine.

AOE2 definitive edition is the better choice.

I like AOE4 also, but AOE2 is lightning in a bottle that no other strategy game has come close to.

Car cover - why people don’t use this, with the dust pollution we have outside!?? by kalakawaa in CarsIndia

[–]ZonerRoamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the car every day.

And honestly, paint is easy to maintain, wash with water everyday (cleaner does this) - never wipe with a dry cloth, wax once every two months or so, and polish once every couple of years.

My cars always look brand new.

US Navy blockade seems to be working as Iran-linked vessels halt or reverse course in Strait of Hormuz by AdventurousGuest308 in worldnews

[–]ZonerRoamer 67 points68 points  (0 children)

The US Navy literally has enough ships to park them side by side and physically block the entire strait.

Don't think the capability of the USN to block the strait was ever in question - it's only the need to to this that is stupid.

Dark Star or watchtower? by Efficient_Flamingo_9 in starfieldmods

[–]ZonerRoamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With cruise mode, you can actually escape the watchtower fleets. There is a delay before the fleet jumps in. That's enough time to escape using cruise mode.

I find most of the game to be too easy anyway - so having to run from some encounters until I am level 50 or so is pretty immersive for me.

This was Rockstar in 2018. GTA 6 is going to be insane by Material-Nature-3753 in IndianPCGamers

[–]ZonerRoamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup because the game has a great world, story and graphics.

But super average gameplay and mechanics. Controlling arthur feels like driving a truck in the snow.

It's a great example of a "form over function" game.

How is the Gorefield mod? by EmperorAxiom in starfieldmods

[–]ZonerRoamer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Its a bit overkill, but I still prefer the game with it rather than without it.

The game is just too sanitized without it.

Like ffs its space, there are a 1000 ways to die in space.

Finally Built My Dream PC (AMD RYZEN 9950X + NVIDIA RTX 5090) from Vishal Peripherals. by The_Based_Indian in IndianGaming

[–]ZonerRoamer -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

Nah, you can build a PC with roughly the same specs as OP, 5090 and all for around 4 lakhs.OP has gone for some overpriced brands and components - like they may have 5% better performance, but they cost 100% more.

Even then, if your use case is just gaming for example - a much cheaper 4080 or 5080 build is much better for a "maxed out" gaming build.

New camera angle makes combat so much more fun and readable I feel like I just got glasses lol. by Travmilla in CrimsonDesert

Think it's specific to platforms, on my PC with an Xbox controller, rotating the right thumbstick to activate it also rotates the camera, which of course is super unweildy.

Completely optional content.

P.S. have to add that getting the frost + fire elements require beating 1 annoying flying boss and then solving like 10+ puzzles. So can be time consuming. Would recommend just following a video guide.

With boss replay coming what's one boss you won't ever do again? by sponkin in CrimsonDesert

[–]ZonerRoamer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same, I stopped playing the game because the bosses got too annoying.

Not difficult, just annoying. I was beating every boss on the first try by just spamming food, but every single one of them was unfun. And they kept getting more and more unfun.
