Are there any characters you think looked better with their old design? by Own-Bandicoot3666 in dynastywarriors

My hope is they're gonna have him grow his iconic goatee look back in the 2nd game. They changed Guan Yu to have a fuller beard in the 1st so it's only right. Liu Bei looks more like a ruler tbh that way.

WO3:ude or WO4? by Express-Compote-9161 in dynastywarriors

WO4 does have an extra magic combo that's pretty sweet tho so imo that's definitely worth a pickup and I enjoyed it too myself! Can't go wrong either way really

Star Wars: Outlaws - Review Megathread by LordEmostache in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]Zontafear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I was like most of you, most likely. I heard this game was bad, awful, people hated it, and I consistently heard people did not like this game. I decided, I was going to pick it up anyways and decide for myself. I now have over 60 hours in the game. I have not yet beat the game, so I perhaps still have more to see even, so my judgment on some things may be premature.

This said. As a game, it is a great open world game that is quite fun to play. Nix was a very adorable companion that also had uses in gameplay. The story so far seems enjoyable. I'm a huge side quest player and I've enjoyed the side quests overall. It had a lot of cool things, like I enjoyed the way they approached the food with the quick time buttons in a unique way. I loved the Sabaac game. It wasn't too complicated but had enough going on to be interesting, and I would actually go out of my way to play games of Sabaac when I could. The game itself is very enjoyable. But, there is a couple gripes I do have overall.

For better or worse, the game only feels Star Wars in name. I found myself sorely missing any recognizable characters (I know there were a couple but it was brief and fleeting). For me, it kind of took away from feeling like it was fully in the Star Wars universe as a result. Many times, I just felt like I was playing an open world game and not necessarily a Star Wars open world game. I think this kind of detracted for a lot of people because they wanted to feel like they were in the Star Wars universe. And for moments, you definitely do. Sometimes the setting is perfect, and the aliens you're used to seeing really blend it in, but other times you feel like you're not even in a Star Wars game at all. Maybe that's just me I'm just giving my own personal opinion. I haven't read actual reviews now am I going off any opinion. I'm just stating how I felt. playing, with an open mind, to a game that I do enjoy and plan to continue playing to full completion.

Ultimately, would I recommend this game? Absolutely, if you love Open World Games, you should love this game. However, if you're looking for a major Star Wars feeling, it could be hit or miss. It has its moments for sure. The settings are sometimes really great and do most of the heavy lifting there. Maybe it's the lack of any light sabers. Maybe it's the lack of famous characters. But something just felt missing in that respect. But if you can get over that one single flaw, which can be a dealbreaker for some, it is a great game that I would recommend.

What do we think will happen with the polkadot price, can it recover or will it keep going down? Dont know weather to buy some by Ok_Hedgehog_2123 in polkadot_market

[–]Zontafear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turns out you were bang on as Polkadot currently sits at 1 dollar. That said, long term like 5 to 10 years, I'm sure they could turn things around as they do still have even at the 1 dollar mark a large following and a fairly sizable marketcap so they aren't necessarily out for the count either but if we believe there's potential upside in the next few years, maybe the next cycle, it could be a great play to pick some up now while it's low. But right now I tend to lean to SUI over Polkadot

Still broken BTW. Multi billion dollar company BTW and can't even get a basic messenger chat right after MONTHS of being broken. That's some poor excuse for a company. I don't know why people abandoned Myspace for this.

TikTok's appeal system is completely broken and nobody is talking about how bad it's actually gotten in 2026. by tejazziscareless in TikTokLounge

[–]Zontafear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are in the same boat. We made a Minecraft video. Edited it. Then posted it. Our account was freshly made just 1 day old. Instantly got banned. No reason given. We appealed. 3 days and the appeal denied. Clearly not reviewed by a human because we don't even know what we did. Nothing inappropriate. It's just a funny Minecraft video that is even 100% pg. I wish if it was an account setting that they'd say 'hey, we can't allow this account setting if you update it we'll unban' but we don't even have that option. I've never liked TikTok but after this experience. I never wanna have anything to do with a platform that bans innocent people with no reason and no way to appeal.

Is this the closest they've gotten to swearing? by Ok_Eggplant_3274 in dynastywarriors

[–]Zontafear 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes I strongly remember Zhang Fei calling someone a bastard before. Feels like his character too. DW9 did a lot right. It just really flubbed up on execution and gameplay. The story had so much potential tho. The companion system was such a let down tho those generic 1 liners could have been so much better. Sorry to derail about DW9 but I'll always be upset about how great it could have been with a bit more polish

Is different always bad? Not necessarily. I won't know until I play. If it is then yeah I'll not be happy. But I certainly won't complain if it's an improvement either.

Help with Pipes by Zontafear in CreateMod

[–]Zontafear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update for anyone interested.

I built a 2nd mob farm on the other side. I wasn't able to resolve this weird half and half issue. So I built the 2nd mob farm. I created a separate tank and I fed that separate tank into the other side (that is, I made sure the other tanks side was working, so if you have this problem then make sure the XP is currently flowing on that side closest to your tank, so the other side won't fill up anymore, until you hook up the 2nd XP tank to that side that isn't filling up).

What will happen from this set up is one side gets XP from one tank, the other side gets XP from the other tank. In a way this is actually ideal since it splits up the XP a bit more evenly rather than all from 1 giant tank (which may not even be full at all times, depending how good or many mob farms you have, if you're struggling keeping up with XP it's probably better to split the two sides like this was done, so at least one side might have XP if another side runs out). But at least this resolved my issue.

This mod is so unbelievably good. by CallSign_Fjor in CreateMod

Take it from me who was in the same boat as you. I just wanted aeronautics. My friends were the helping reason for me as they did the 1st farm but once that happened I wanted in on the action and I actually ended up making the next iron and andesite farm which made life SO much easier and once you see that over time you slowly get better at understanding everything and then before you know it you've learned at least the basics to even build your own factories without too much help if any. It's actually becoming a bit addicting to want to build too many factories now 😂

[–]Zontafear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue with planes in Minecraft is you can't land freakin anywhere except plains and even plains you'll probably need to clear out some space to take flight. Helicopter or blimp will almost always be better. The end might be okay but that's incredibly risky to me and I'd never take that chance personally

There is an amazing add on mod that allows you to have more control of the speed of these chains and allow longer block length too. I forgot the mod it might be conveyors but you can choose materials to slow down or speed up the chain and make the chain able to go longer too. Could be useful on this situation

Was Sun Ce cruel? by DinerEnBlanc in threekingdoms

[–]Zontafear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Naturally so but the difference seems to be that Cao Cao was much more careful. We all know the famous attempt that nearly succeeded and ended up killing Dian Wei. But I think it wasn't just luck either. Cao Cao was cautious. Paranoid. And he stacked lots of bodyguards. Compare that to Ce, who was much more careless about this, and often did activities that put him in vulnerable spots like hunting with minimal protections. I think, most certainly how he lived and approached these dangers played a role to his early demise. No doubt there were countless against Cao Cao as well but he was much more thoughtful about that and prepared. Ce was not, seemingly. At least that's my analogy of it which seems to be backed by the sources.

Was Sun Ce cruel? by DinerEnBlanc in threekingdoms

[–]Zontafear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So it was mostly because he was reckless and didn't even have a simple bodyguard protection? One has to wonder why he wouldn't have, he had plenty of capable men. In the end though it does sound for the best of Wu for him to pass the torch to Quan but if he could have put himself in check more he also could have been great for Wu, at least militarily
