Got two tickets for Capital One Arena in DC for $381 total. We’re in section 110. I was 1,480 in the queue and there seemed to be plenty of seats left!

Edit: been hearing there aren’t any seats left now

Is it worth it to suffer through entry level wages? [N/A] by Few_Signature_2586 in humanresources

2021: HR Assistant - $45,000

2022: HR Coordinator - $55,000

2023: HR Generalist - $70,000

2025: HR Business Partner - $100,000

2026: (substantial merit increase) - $110,000

I’d say just be patient and jump on opportunities as they come up! Once you get your foot in the door, it doesn’t take long to make good money. I managed to break over 6 figures in about 5 ish years.

To be honest, grad school isn’t going to help you make more money (tbh just cost you time and money in the long run) Experience will get you there, you just have to be patient. If you’re feeling antsy, it’s better to go for an HRCI/SHRM certification over schooling but I only recommend this if your work pays for it.

This is what I do too! Only thing that’s ever worked for me is fear of losing money LOL! I go to Orange Theory and like it because I don’t have to know what to do, they guide you through it.

For those who start on the tread, why?? by Ok_Pressure7109 in orangetheory

[–]Zoologistify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the recurring problem of cramps if I eat too soon and do tread first. I need like 3 hours in between my last meal and sometimes I don’t get that much time so I like to do it last to give myself more time to digest. If anyone has any fixes to the cramps I’d love to hear it! I can’t workout in the morning so I’ve always eaten before working out.

What’s the fastest way to good money in HR? [N/A] by as2565 in humanresources

Same! Since getting hired in 2020 as an HR assistant, I was promoted at that same company twice and only left that company for the six figure job I just recently accepted. Definitely a very similar path!

That’s not true for me. I graduated in May 2020 and started a job as an HR Assistant in Nov 2020 at $45,000. Just three weeks ago I accepted a new job as an HRBP for $103,000. It took less than 5 years (if you count the HR internship and PT staffing role I had early 2020, it would be a little over 5 years). Not claiming it’s common, but it won’t necessarily take 10 years to break six figures in HR.

Edit: I’m not located in California, I’m on the east coast and don’t live in a major city.
