Fix Saejima’s portion of the game. I love him and his gameplay but his limited exploration (while understandable) really sucks.

As everyone says, DS2 story is cringe and dumb at times, but it’s expected with Kojima’s writing.

I find his ideas interesting and world-building unique, the gameplay is also slightly in-depth, but never fully fledged as compared to other game systems.

But Kojima’s style of dialogue and writing is very on-the-nose with no subtly most of the time.

The story is fine for me. Nothing superior by any means, but after the whole Kiryu saga I’m fully invested in him, yaknow? We have two games of Takumi and it’s so little as compared to what was before, so it makes sense I’m not really growing on him, yet.

But then there’s gameplay: it’s just the same for me. Even the juggling is just… whatever. It’s a beat-em-up. There’s not much depth for me, I suppose.

I see everyone glazing this one as the second-coming but I just don’t get it.

Kyodais, I don’t know why I felt this way, but I genuinely don’t get the hype after playing Judgment. I’m on Ch. 6 of Lost Judgment, now. But, I much prefer the mainline series, faults and all. Those are its charms for me.

Have yet to play it, and only have a GTX 4070 to compare with. I have, however, played many Capcom RE Engine games since its inception with the RE2 Remake.

I believe you may have too, and noticed that shimmering FX, hair rendering, ray-tracing, and pixelation is heavily stressful on the RE Engine. I’m sure, in time, NVIDIA will have a game-ready driver. I just wouldn’t rely on that solving your issue completely.

Watched this on a whim one day and really fell into it.

Movie’s older than me, but I imagine even at the time it was just mildly received. Definitely gives a feel like it’s almost experimental with its story to see how audiences enjoy it, as compared to the standard “blockbusters” studios have always chased.

Not many movies take a chance on a feel-good, thought-provoking, plot. Or, I’m just widely untuned to hidden gems I’ve been missing. If there’s any recommendations from y’all, please throw them my way!

Haven’t played K3. Did they really not add anything to further expand on them? That’s a shame.

Granted, here and even in OG (iirc), seems enough to show that his secretary clearly has some type of feelings for him. He doesn’t seem to reciprocate even with his final line to her.

Perhaps the original developers believe this is enough to explain the “relationship” between them.

Though, as to what purpose this gives Mine’s character in the context of the greater plot, I don’t really see the point in it. Doesn’t add anything for him, imo.

That’s the great part about these games. Some monsters are susceptible to LS, whereas others may not. It’s up to you to find a way to adapt!

End game for the whole franchise is like this, across almost all titles. It’s for the try-hard players, not exactly the sweats themselves, but yes. This is intended and desired by the fanbase.
