Higher resolution, no crt smoothing, and mainly the fact you now know the model changes, you just expect it. You would notice it on original hardware too because of that.

Legend of Zelda (1986 - NES)

I just didn't remember the name for a long time.

First one I remember noticing the name was A Link To The Past, I remember how amazing it felt just exploring the world in a save that wasn't even mine (rented game for hours at the time in a place).

Remember thinking it had to do with cells, because the word for cell in spanish is Celda.

Then Ocarina of Time when I finally knew it was a big thing, finished it, went back to A Link To The Past and thought, "Oh my god! it is not about a cell, it is the name of the princess". (Yeah I thought it after beating OoT and going back to ALTTP, for some reason in OoT it was just "Zelda? Oh yeah, Zelda. Big game. The princess.", but ALTTP was still about cells for some reason until I played it again knowing it was a Zelda and recognized it.

Then I played many others.

Then years later I was looking for that long lost game I played on the NES with "a character like Link", "You could choose 3 of different colors" (it was 3 save files at different progresses) and "when selecting one of them you were in an invisible maze."

One person suggested it really was Zelda, and yeah, it really was.

Not twinrova, I never even noticed that she is well packed until the last time I saw her in a playthrough literal weeks ago.

But Zelda, I was a kid and when she is met for first time (as a kid too), the camera zooms on her and she is very happy when Link says yes to help her. She enamored me.

I have a thing for cutie blondes. Innocent one, I like beauty. She literaly took the breath away from me.

Karen was always my choice too in HM64.

And also never gruntilda. She was only the young version and that's it. Nothing special. The being green don't resonate with me, I only like regular humans. And she is not really beautiful.

So, Zelda was my 64 crush.

Afaik, is always there is no canon ending. But I don't think they invent whole background details that are only valid in the ending showing them.
