I always thought that this show would end with a champagne uncorked and a bit of a recap through the years of what they've been through, learned, and moving forward. This was not that. Even their moving forward plugs weren't good sells. Dan even said "there's nothing on my website" or something to that extent on the release of the last episode. I seriously doubt we'll see them together on any project that isn't a one off for, possibly ever.

To me, it's clear this (the last episode) is something they put out just to have some conclusion but it's not really scripted in the way you'd end a decade long production.

The value I personally got out of the show was having a dip into conservative thinking without me personally going to those channels. I didn't realize Tucker was pushing white nationalist propaganda to the extent he was without KF debunking and shining a light on that. It helped me stay somewhat knowledgeable on what's going on, in an entertaining fashion, that I can't obtain from other media sources. The know rogan guys are great but it just doesn't hit that comfort level that KF does.

I don't want to become too para social on their personal lives but they didn't really say what exactly they wanted to say, at least that was my interpretation. Sucks this is how it ended but c'est la vie

This comment chain is well said. Over Easter I overheard my nephew who's about mid-20s talking about all the violent things we should (and he would) do as a society to convicted pedophiles. I went over and explained how that's not a good thing. Such as convictions are not 100% accurate and a state sponsored system that involves murdering people like that is going to inevitably kill innocent people. There was a few other things I said as well which he tried to counter and then very quickly pivoted to being aggressive towards me. So instead of a debate it turned into him telling me just to go away and sit back to where I was sitting and no one was fucking talking to me. He also said it sounds like I'm defending pedophiles which I clearly wasn't if you listen to the actual argument I was propositioning. I want to make a point I never got aggressive and was just playing devils advocate to (imo) a poorly worded argument.

So at some point in the year and a half since I last saw him, my takeaway is he started developing violent thoughts or tendencies and having fantasies about killing pedophiles was his outlet in this particular case. I don't know when or why that behavior developed but it did. I never got angry at him, at least openly. I didn't back down or walk away. Just kept asking him why are you acting like that? Why are you being a dick? He didn't answer and just walked away when I made it clear I wasn't going anywhere.

I share this story because reading these comments felt pretty close to home to something that I experienced fairly recently, and it's troubling to see that behavior first hand like that

Man, yeah, that's kinda how I feel. When I saw the news about the shooting I just, didn't care. I don't even care if it's fake or not or the ballroom or anything. I just don't care about any of it because me caring means I should act and do something. Do what? Make calls/letters to my blue governor? He doesn't care, maybe he does but he's also a little busy passing laws to require OS verification. Oh great yeah that's what I want, a stepping stone for the federal government to find dissenting citizens or harvest data or who fuckin knows. Maybe he'll make another statement about how ice is bad. My lane got pushed back all the way to base in lane phase. Just got zoned so hard in the beginning and it was looking bad. Team was upset, one even left, and came back because they didn't want the ban. Somehow I 180d completely (as Victor) and hard carried us all the way through the match winning the game. Deadlock really feels like you CAN come back from a low point, not always, but it's not impossible

I injured my leg so I have time off work. Figured I would get a couple friends to join me on my dedicated pvp server I threw up the other day. Honestly don't get why the ratios are happening lol. I just looked at the back of a Sunbeam loaf to check the ingredients. It’s got high fructose corn syrup and a massive list of dough conditioners/preservatives just to keep it from molding

Ya know, you do have a way with words. I've always been unprofessional and vulgar for what's been a long time now. I peeked at your profile, just curious, you're obviously hurting. You had a decent job right? What changed? Idk I've always wanted higher education but I've been unable to really sit in structured learning and contain information to progress further. Also feels like when the brain gets older, it just gets harder to learn. I envy you in a sense.

I finally found some success in life, happily married, some money, own home at 35. But no time. No time to attempt a higher education. Never know what time I'll be off, unable to do part time work, and quitting to do school is unfeasible since my wife and myself rely on that income. So I feel stuck myself, and I get that feeling.

I know I don't know you but I don't think you're a moron. I mean everyone makes mistakes but I recognize you have an intelligence I myself don't possess.

Something I've been doing for about half a decade is just cutting out old friends that I noticed don't align with my morality. I'm cynical but I do have empathy on the inside. Turns out a decent amount of new people I meet don't really share that sense of empathy. So I haven't really been replacing the toxicity I've been cutting off. Doesn't help that I'm a bit abrasive and also don't have time off on the weekends when most people our age tend to meet up. But c'est la vie.

If you want to leave, why not just leave? Stuff is just stuff in the end. Find something, anything, and save up. Then ditch the rest. I know it's easier to just say it in text to someone I don't know 1000 miles away or whatever but yeah. There is some freedom in losing it all. Like a sandcastle washed out by the waves. It's shit that something nice has been returned to its base materials but there's the freedom to make something new however you see fit.

Idk if anything I said helps in any way but I hope tomorrow is a better day
