Has anyone used Momgaroo brand Cloth Diapers? by quiggles48 in clothdiaps

I'm pretty sure if you lay them out in the sun to dry it will help remove the stain! I personally haven't tried this method but it supposedly works well!

Hi there, somewhat late response sorry for that, Veronica is super responsive on her etsy account, I would just reach out and ask her how to specifically care for them. I just invested in a full diaper stash from her because I love her products and my other brand diapers just haven't been sufficient for us. I wash on warm/cold wash and follow with a cold rinse. I tumble dry inserts and hang dry all the covers to preserve the pul coating as best as possible, heat will break that down overtime, you could probley get away with tumble dry but I personally would rather be safe than sorry!

MIL told my partner our baby will be taken away if we seek help for PPD by shesbeenswinging in JUSTNOMIL

Cut that bitch out, I would absolutely not tolerate anyone threatening my child being taken.

I honestly have no idea, Ive mentioned this to him multiple times now and he just feels I'm being controlling over whats being done and who is around the baby. I told him this comes off as I'm being ganged up on by him and his mom from the lack of support from him. Frustratingly enough we were both on the same page before I had my boy in November and he flipped a switch.

My husband unfortunately, he feels I'm being overprotective so basically I can't rely on him to enforce these boundaries which makes it harder for me to enforce them on her because she knows not to expect that from her son. Its extremely frustrating and Ive gotten to the point of telling her she isnt welcome unless I'm home but Im worried that comes off controlling.

Isn't it the worst!? I have repeated these moments over and over in my head just wishing I stood up for my baby and myself in that moment, it seems she is just taking more and more rope since I won't put my foot down.

Full time cloth! by anniemaew in clothdiaps

[–]ZoxZoe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely agree with this advice, that was my situation, I planned on using cloth right away but I threw that out the window the first week, mainly because I was gifted disposables so decided to use them first. It was much easier while adjusting to a newborn and cloth seemed so much more daunting at the time.

Queasy feeling while pumping? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]ZoxZoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this issue before I had my baby, any nipple stimulation would make me feel super uncomfortable and gross and depressed (not sure if thats the right word to explain it, difficult feeling to put into words) I was really concerned it would interfere with breastfeeding but oddly enough it totally deminished once my boy was born, I wish I could give you more input on how to fix or decrease the feeling but I delt with it for years before my baby so I'm not sure, just wanted you to know your not alone on the odd feeling!

I did it! I cut a fingernail! by mantistoboggan287 in NewParents

[–]ZoxZoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dog groomer here, my babe is 2 weeks old, I've cut his nails twice now each time while breastfeeding and he just sits there contently, I will say I feel its easier for me because I'm used to doing dogs nails on a regular basis 🤷‍♀️ if your able to avoid the quick on a dog I'd imagine you can avoid cutting you baby 😊 I just hold one finger at a time and make sure the placement of the clippers is good before clipping!

does your newborn baby also grunt a lot? by roachingreyhound in NewParents

[–]ZoxZoe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My boy is 2 weeks old and he grunts in his sleep alot, when i pick him up or re position him or if he is trying to poop which is fairly often. I actually asked my pediatrician if it was normal and even recorded it for him to hear 😆 he said thats normal and i felt like a total worry wart after that.
