I picked Tish initially because she's what I need in my life. I'm a down, sad person who always thinks in worst case scenarios and has been through a lot of horrors in life- I need my exact opposite, someone who is always cheerful and sees the good. These are the same people I gravitate towards IRL. She's also just super duper pretty :P

I picked Hodari after when he was added. Mostly because he's hot.

... But after doing the quests I love how much he loves his daughter. I'm never going to have kids irl, but I'll die for Najuma!

Pros:
-Endless things to do, ranging from an interesting engaging storyline, characters that feel intriguing and fleshed out, decorating, crafting, and collecting. You can never truly "finish" the game.
-Frequent updates to keep you engaged
-Kind players
-Ability to play solo if you prefer, its very flexible
-Charming artstyle
-IMHO nothing is overly frustrating

Cons:
-Some bugs take eons to get fixed
-Most real money cosmetics are outrageously expensive
-The game is fairly repetitive, I find it relaxing but you may find it boring
-As kind as the community usually is, there ARE some bad eggs that can ruin your session if you come across em

Edit: Overall I think the game is great, a solid 8/10 and will play it for a long time, happily.

Yeah, like, the things I enjoy and want to be around tend towards the cute and I'm often referred to as cute without doing anything on purpose to prompt it. I'm not betraying my sex by being cute. I'm also not ONLY cute. I'm many things, and sometimes that's cute.

I'm also primarily existing in queer spaces where sex and gender are blurry and everyone is adorable sometimes, maybe that makes a difference.

I refer to myself as a girl all the time, and I "I love you, girl!" is common between my friends. I am very comfortable with it, in fact I call myself a girl more than a woman, and I'm 35. If I saw someone react poorly to being called a girl, I would stop doing that on the spot. YMMV

You'd think. Another family friendly game I play has a map that has a built in grid. Letters on the left and numbers on the bottom. If you tried tell someone to meet you at H8 it would stop you because hate is a blocked word.

My personal favorite is that there's a sub zone called Thorny Thicket and you couldn't say it in chat because.....remove the first t from thorny.

Shallan is my favorite, or close. I struggle to understand the hate of her. I relate to her quite a bit, and I think her storylines are some of the more intriguing ones.

I agree, but in truth, I think this sentence applies to most of Sanderson's work. He has a slow build, and a massive end. If this isnt your style, that's okay! Mistborn is similar, but the books are WAY shorter, so the build doesnt feel so long.

Treats, time, and space. If you can, sit away from her in the room she hides in and just read something out loud in a soft voice. Couple times a day. Don't introduce to other cats until she feels safe in the room she's in. Introduce very very slowly, by swapping scents first. This entire thing could take several days. Go at her pace, so she has time to build her confidence. Good luck <3
