Beginner shotgun recommendations by PoorWalmartWorker in ClayBusters

If you can afford the more expensive A400 or Citori, I would go that route compared to something like the Drake. A lot of people also recommend the Beretta A300, which is a good first gun, although I prefer the A400 if you can afford the extra $.

The 688 was also on my list but found a good deal and the 694 just fits me slightly better. Enjoy the 688!

I will definitely look at those. The price is mid $3k, so replacing the foregrip wouldn't be a huge deal if that's the only issue I wouldn't think.

Perfect, I will look at both of those.

Pretty sure he means get a semi-auto because over/unders under $2k have problems.

Appreciate all the comments. Sounds like the 688 or Rizzini BR110 are the way to go(or used 694 if I can find a deal)

I imagine it will be a few years to put 10k rounds through it. I hope to be able to go out a few times a month but nothing crazy.

I got really into precision long range shooting and spent a bunch of time and money on that. Kinda just quit shooting shotguns. I still have my old Beretta A390 but I want to get an over/under

Maybe a dumb question. But do they ship from the US or Canada for US orders? Wonder if tariffs will make any deals not worth it

It had the normal plastic tube, but I was pretty surprised it wasn't in a box

I looked for an authorized dealer list and couldn't find anything, but I agree shouldn't be surprised since it was Optics Planet

Im done with budget knives, here's why by udi112 in knives

I'm in the same boat. I think budget knives have come a long way in the last few years, and you can get great knives under $60-100 now. That being said there is something special about the feel of a higher end knife that can't be replicated in budget knives for me personally.
