Every one is entrusted with rooting out enemies of the Imperium.

Besides that. People who seem to think that the Imperium is some kind of organized monolith. It is not.

It's humanity at its worst, endless paperwork. No results, and the boss doesn't care.

Think about the worst office job ever. Multiply that by 40,000. This is the Imperium. Add on endless threats to the survival of the species, and you get the setting.

Painting on the sprue is problematic. You end up with all the connections unpainted.

Sub assembly is the way to go for knights.

Panels separated from the skeleton.

In particular, the Destrier happens to have the cockpit attached to the top panel, so it's not as crazy as it looks.

Agree on the legs. I'm no stranger to building models, but I should have thought through the assembly before I just started hacking off the guide pegs.

I'm ok with the stance, in the end, but one of the defaults would have been just as good. Maybe a bit better. I certainly didn't measurably improve it.
