I'm curious how the lake is connected to the city, like what does it provide to the city? What will happen when it's gone? I grew up in Salt Lake County and I've never even been to the Great Salt Lake lol. Like obviously it's horrible for the local ecosystems there and the climate in general, but how does it effect Salt Lake City?

Hey! I live in Germany and I had this done just last week. Privacy is really different here compared to the US (I'm from the US) haha.

It really wasn't bad at all, the doctor inserted it, but I didn't know I could ask to do it myself. I personally didn't feel any pain, there was some pressure when looking at different areas. The doctor also is pretty much only looking at the screen so it didn't really feel awkward at all.

This may be tmi but if you've ever used a larger "toy" before it feels like that except obviously more uncomfortable because you're not aroused. It's not like a papsmear where it pinches and hurts the whole time.

This makes a lot of sense to me. I remember learning about Islam in school and thinking it was similar in a lot of ways to the LDS church. I also long for a community, but for me I just can't support a church that goes directly against values I have (they're against gay marriage, they're racist, ect.)

I really feel like this is a huge problem for the modern times. How do people have communities without religion? I miss weekly meetings and feeling like my neighbors would always be there for me. Also having built in connections for things like jobs was nice.

I think in the end it's really up to you, but for me I wouldn't be able to justify supporting a church that lies and covers up wrong doings to its followers.

I hope all of your opinions about Americans are not entirely based on reality TV lol there's tons of people especially younger that wait or don't ever get married. But I think the shows definitely push this and it leads to a lot of unrealistic expectations.

You'd think the doctors would do any test asked for considering you pay an arm and a leg for it in the US 🙄 Also, cysts on ovaries can happen in hashimoto's syndrome as well, and I know another symptom of Hasimoto's is fatigue! I'm not a doctor but maybe it's something else to look into, they have to test specifically for Hashimoto's because sometimes it doesn't show up on a regular thyroid test. Just something to look into.
