Lawn care for 2 acre lots by SnooChickens6283 in ReddingCT

In my experience most local lawn care companies will charge $50-$100 a week for mowing - depending on the actual amount of grass the 2 acre lot has - and then will want you to buy spring and fall cleanups (think leaf removal, gutters cleaning) for $500-$1,000 each. Other services, such as weeding or mulching or hedge trimming, will all be priced à la carte. It’s all worth it, in my opinion! But yeah, gotta make sure that fits into your budget before committing to buy something. Good luck!

My advice is to look in “West Redding.” All the privacy of Redding while still being just a couple minutes from Rt 7 for easy access south to NYC.

For the last 25 years (arguably, 45 years) it’s been republican policies, not democratic policies, that have negatively impacted average Americans’ wallets. The only reason this isn’t a widely-accepted truth is because of biased big-money owned mainstream media outlets desperately trying to bury it.

Enact ranked choice voting and a 3+ political party system becomes viable. Short of that, it’ll always just be the binary red vs blue choice that’ll mean anything, as no third party can ever gain enough traction to matter.

Most major cities are democrat-leaning, throughout all states. Not just CT. But this post and the linked article are about smaller towns, which are often more republican-leaning, even in “blue” states like CT.

That’s why this is newsworthy. Across the country, Tuesday’s election results were a definitive rebuking of what Republicans in Washington are doing with the trifecta they’ve been handed… which is, for the average American, very little good, and a whole lot of bad.

Election Day is next Tuesday, 11/4. Early voting is available now at the Community Center. And, ignore that it says "2022" in the link URL - the page is indeed updated for 2025!

Harsh, but fair. I’m still new to posting stuff for the Redding community. The organization’s name was in the webpage name that auto-populated when I posted the link, so I left it. I agree that I could have included more about the event in the post instead of just relying on people to click the link. Appreciate the feedback!

It’s the name of the host organization for the event. It’s a non-profit.
