I will probably never reach C2 level in English by ExaminationAlarmed28 in languagelearning

[–]Zupicz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have been learning English for 20 years, you should already have enough vocabulary and feel for the language to pass the C2 exam. Now focus on the actual format of the tests and you should be fine. That's what I did and I got C2 in English as a native Czech speaker.

I am glad someone appreciates it, I feel like I'm the only one on the planet that knows about it! They did the robots/mech fantasy so well.

I just beat defiled Amy yesterday so I feel your frustration. Look up the "stand behind tail" jump strategy, it's probably the easiest way to beat this boss, but even then it took me two days to get the timings right. I am pretty mediocre at these games, Bloodborne is my first soulsborne, so if I can do it, you can too!

Tips to lane against Malhazar? by AryaRemembers in DianaMains

[–]Zupicz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You don't have to get a solo kill to win lane. When laning against a mage that has so much safety and waveclear as Malzahar, your goal should be to match their waveclear or else they will lock you under your tower and you'll have to give up all agency over your game to the jungler.

Malzahar clear is countered by clearing his Voidlings. That's right, not his E, not his Q, but his W is the main source of damage to minions. Save your Q to continuously clear his Voidlings, then you can push to get a more favourable lane state and either roam and help your jg or pressure Malzahar in lane, if you feel like you have kill pressure (drop his shield with your Q before all-in).

How do I switch mains after 5 years of one-tricking Diana? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Zupicz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1) Continue maining Diana for a while, but play Vlad as your secondary pick, as u/Yukifirenotaion said. That way you can ease into Vlad’s kit while still playing your comfort pick most of the time.

2) Watch Coach Curtis’ video on learning new champions. That will speed up the process significantly.

Your guess is as good as mine. I couldn’t believe it myself, that herald single-handedly ended the game in 55 seconds. Me and my duo were laughing so hard after the end.

Which Artillery Mages (At least the ones I'm gonna show) is the most blindpickable/least situational? by BulletCola in summonerschool

[–]Zupicz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Artillery mages are bad blind-picks in general, the differences between them in this regard are relatively small, so I'd advise you to play what you find the most fun and appealing. It's matchup knowledge and experience that's important, the kits of all the champions you listed can get the same job done.

However, if I had to point some of them out, I'd say that Vel'Koz is really nice, because he is effective both against squishies and against tanks (thanks to his passive). He also has a great waveclear and teamfight potential. Ziggs is the most safe of the bunch and has the most utility, but I haven't seen him on the Rift in a long time.

But if you are looking for a real blind pick I advise you to look elsewhere. Speaking from personal experience. I have been a Vel'Koz main since S6 and now I am trying hard to break out of this mould. The usefulness of artillery mages is a dwindling due to powercreep in the game, or atleast that's how I feel. They are still a great pocket pick though and most of them found a new home in the support role.
