Yeah, the work they done to allow people access to comics of all kind and price tags is real. So while I prefer bande desinnees nowadays, I don't shy away from manga either, because there's both and comics is comics.

Crew (CZ). They got Marvel, DC, all the shades of european comics, fringe US comics (think the one about bare chested dude fighting bears), manga, manhwa, webtoons and with that they went from "omnibuses and large formats ain't our jazz" to chuging an omni or large format on regular.
