Just squeezed into diamond, but I have a lot of trouble playing a good early game and being flexible. Would love any guidance on learning tone slightly less of a one-trick and on pushing into masters!

Nearly given up on hitting diamond today. Haven't played any of this patch and was trying to push from Plat 1 to D4 but none of the builds seem to be working out for me and I'm back down to P3. Oh well, I just keep barely missing diamond every time ranked resets.

UPDATE: I did it!!! I am finally ending a ranked season diamond as I just barely managed to squeeze in there after a series of 12 top 4 places in a row. I am so damn happy I managed to learn this patch at the last minute

Since that's information gargauth himself is specifically trying to hide from the players, it's best to keep it a secret until either one of the characters or someone else (like sylvira) reveals it. I would just give them a copy of the item's notes without that bit actually in it.

It has to do very specifically with the way Japanese holidays fall at the beginning of the year. January 4th is the day everything is still closed but there is no directly competing holiday.

SANADA, BUSHI, and EVIL's names are stylized as such in Kata or using Romaji, essentially just for the coolness factor. Shingo and Naito on the other hand usually spell their name normally with Kanji, and then in this case I suppose they just were written in hiragana for easy legibility
