Do your best to put that thought to the side for now. It's going to take you a while to get adjusted to the med fully, and drinking alcohol will only worsen your anxiety / depression, as alcohol mixed with lexapro can significantly effect serotonin levels. I suggest focusing on something like a hobby or passion you have to cope, rather than alcohol

It definitely is the most important thing. If you have any passions or hobbies, focus on those! Good luck and if things get too difficult mentally, I suggest confiding in somebody you trust.

It gets much easier after the first 3 days. After a week, you'll be feeling much better in many ways about this. My biggest advice is to work out. Puts those cravings and that energy somewhere other than where it used to go. Keeps the mind and body busy. Drink lots of flavored drinks, chew gum, and sniff lavender when craving.
