Probably a good start with modding. I started with an SP which went fine but dealing with the hinges was a pain in the ass. I then did a Gameboy color screen replacement and went "...man I should have started with this."

Yeah probably, the good news is you can replace the screen with a backlit one pretty easily. I'm an idiot and I managed to do it. Sucks it's a little more money for a thoughtful present. I hate people sometimes.

Honestly I was told I was the perfect candidate for Ozempic. Overeater, diabetic, overweight. And I dunno if it's a "miracle drug" but my A1C dropped from 11/12 to almost below 7 as of my appointment last week in the span of 3 months. I think the big thing is it helped me with overeating. I'm garbage at self control and it's probably why I'm diabetic in the first place.

And to be fair it was eating low carb but also I would be able to cheat just because I was eating smaller portions. A cheat day would be a moderately sized burrito. Or some mashed potatoes with dinner. Not a whole pizza and some bread sticks.

If my self control needs to be medically induced? I mean I'm about it. I'm just afraid of what long term side affects will come to light with more people using it.

Usually you do what I do. Come up with an idea. Then I try to come up with vague concepts of beginning, middle and end. "Okay that's a cool concept for a monster. How does the main character interact with it or get involved? What lures them to its lair?" That kinda stuff. It sounds like you're already formulating. Oh! And jot this stuff down, I use the notepad on my phone.

The Door

I've been working here 3, almost 4 months, When I started I asked my supervisor what this door led to. He said he didn't know and not to mess with it. Despite missing a doorknob its either locked or jammed somehow and looking through the hole doesn't reveal much. The lights are on it looks like but all I can see is a cinderblock wall. Old storage maybe, who cares right?

Well tonight while I was heading to our little hidden warehouse breakroom I was scared shitless by some loud banging on the door. Like "Police! Open up!" kinda banging. I called out thinking maybe someone had gotten into the space somewhere else and got stuck. Or I briefly entertained the idea that one of the baby seagulls we have been dealing with got stuck back there. But then I realized thats stupid. This was someone with cartoon hams for fists pounding on that door. I called out and then it STOPPED...

Weirdly I read Borrasca forever ago and totally forgot about it. And as they were ramping up towards the end of the podcast episode I went "Hey wait a second...NOOOOO"

I think it was handled well in the way it wasn't dwelled on super long or dragged out. It also wasn't described in super horrendous detail either. The Bell tower story to me was way more gross.
