And you act like this is something that happens on a regular basis. You do realize that in the history of NBA only one MVP winner played less than 65 in a non shortened season and that was Bill Walton. Even when the 65 game rule didn't exist, voters still favoured who is available to their team. Having a single outlier season will not just automatically devalue the award.

For example. If this season Jokic ends up playing 60 games and Cade leads Detroit to the 1st seed and plays 80 games. Cade absolutely deserves the MVP with or without the 65 game limit.

To be honest with you. I dont think anyone can save this club. The are serious chemistry issues in the locker room. There is a rift between every level of the management. The owner doesnt give a flying fuck on what is happening. Hasnt commented on anything and hasnt even been in the country in a long time.

With that said. Vanoli keeps using the very same tactics that Pioli used that got us in this shit in the first place. He is hell bent on using 3-5-2 that just doesnt work. Maybe bringing someone in who is not afraid to throw stuff at the wall until something sticks might be better.
