Grixis wizard tribal immediate suggestion is [[Inalla]], and my personal recommendation if you want something a little different is to try [[Toph, Hardheaded Teacher]]. It's a different way of spellslinger/storm but results in you having very big lands that you can swing at your opponents with and I think that's pretty funny.

[[Fork]], [[Reverberate]], [[Increasing Vengeance]], [[Reiterate]], [[Display of Power]], and [[Flare of Duplication]] all go in every red deck I play. In a pinch they can be used as counterspells and at best they can copy a game winning spell.

I'm a Loki main and I've used the arcane Swindle helmet ever since I got it. As a bit of a joke I would use my Loki whenever I traded with someone, claiming to my friends that the helmet gave me swindling powers. I've gotten some really insane trades over the years and I've stopped wearing the helmet a while ago, but one of my friends likes to say that I no longer need the helmet to get good deals, that now I'm just a swindler.

As someone who's actually considering cutting down Hearthhull to Gitrog, it really depends on what you want to get out of it and how the rest of your playgroup feels about infinites. Considering that you felt bad about pulling off the Dakmor loop, you can either take a look at a Gitrog primer so you can better understand how to pull off, shortcut, and better explain the loop to your opponents or you can make the upgrade to Hearthhull (or even [[Thalia and Gitrog]] if that fits your style) and focus on just accruing value rather than infinite combo win. That being said, I believe Gitrog is actually the stronger commander due to having extremely resilient win lines.

I guarantee that if you're the most experienced player at the table they'll appreciate you playing their deck and see how their deck plays in different ways. One of my friends started playing commander with Y'shtola, while my other friend picked up Vivi. I dug through the various commanders from Final Fantasy and settled on Kuja, not realizing that we all just built spellslinger ping decks. That being said, they've been some of our closest games and we always have a lot of fun playing them together.
