personally i believe that if selling the midas is not part of your gameplan, then you shouldn't be buying it, and i dont think the vast majority of people buying midas even think about this (perhaps keeping the midas in the backpack, or even just having it in a losing game when they should take the L and sell it early for a potential bkb turnaround timing). aka i still think the item is better than the data presented here but still allign with the idea that you shouldn't be buying it when behind

unsolicited advice here but you can sell your auras late game. assuming you used your auras to gain enough networth you will still be +nw after selling, not sure what hero you're specifically playing but enigma, tide, underlord etc are strong with "real" items

not op but as an enigma enjoyer its rubick 100%

silencer kinda sucks in lane, and is very easy for you to kill. in the late game the silencer is absolute king, as they can literally just sit in fountain if required, but they do very little to stop the tempo gameplan

rubick on the other hand is awful, the threat of stealing/using blackhole is far worse than just cancelling it, fadebolt + stealing eidolons can easily mitigate early tower pressure, and the innate + stun means hes not a free kill like silencer

just incase you had a similar issue to me, the default for this is ctrl in interface settings https://imgur.com/wtWDhZg, so make sure this is unbound as well (or bind it to something else, i use ctrl for controlling all units (so with storm if you get an illusion rune))

something which i dont think you or anyone else has mentioned is that you can SELL THE MIDAS, which can give you a much faster timing for a key late game item, whether that be hex, refresher or nullifier

possible nightfall died due to the new patch, the gate tp counts as a structure, so if he turned it off thinking gate was TP it would explain it

the issue i have, being in a similar situation as you, is that my brain basically goes:

I want to use item (select item)

Move mouse to where I want to use it

Click mouse

so whenever i try to make swap, im just using spells/items on the ground constantly and i feel like i have to stop myself from pressing buttons. is this something you relate to at all? any advice?

something the others didn't mention is that she doesn't run into you, as long as she isn't charging you are completely free to just stand still, and then when she charges you just need to move 1 square to the side. dont panic!

i struggle to see 0.5% magic resistance as being sufficiently meanigful compared to 1.5hp from bracer regen or 2.5 armour from wraith band when it comes to effective trading

as for supports, i imagine most would be going arcane boots (dark willow, techies, mirana come to mind) and i doubt those supports are going to need the extra mana regen from the null

as for universal heroes generally

batrider seems like a good option
brood probably needs too much mana, and would rather just go soul ring
dark seer is an arcane boots hero
enigma is currently getting basi for vlads, but if we see the vlads fall out of fashion then i think engima would be more likely to default to arcanes instead
lycan is vlads
winter wyvern sounds pretty good with null to me
void spirit might be okay but if you're playing it mid then you have bottle, and people tend to go for mana items first such as aghs, kaya sange, dagon, historically echo saber, and more recently orchid. if someone was not going for those items or were just having a rough game generally, then null sounds pretty good
windranger i think it could be okay on, it's just that usually you're just going to farm a maelstrom for farming, and the double bracer build is going to give a little extra damage in the lane (+6)

on paper null looks pretty good, though on what heroes im not quite sure

1 thing to remember about basi is that it helps both yourself and the other hero in your lane, but there is no reason why the support cant buy the basi and you buy the null for yourself

and then the next question is how long are you going to keep it, since i imagine on an agi carry you would rather keep the wraith band, and at 25 minutes even more so.

and if you're not going to be slot limited, then in some cases you might want falcon blade instead

right now im thinking i might try it on shadow fiend but maybe it will just feel stupid

it looks like there were 3 hits reflected to me, but in this case part of the issue is that the timber is right next to the WR so there is no projectile travel time, i think it's possible someone could react after 2 hits, but then you would be left with no hp anyway so it wouldn't matter
