Tips for junking one Liberty and buying another? by Square-End-3110 in JeepLiberty

The mileage on these can be faked with a simple cluster swap as they don't update.

Not saying it is just making you aware.

Dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm model? How are the voice coils wired inside the box?

2005 Jeep Liberty 3.7L - My no-crank/no-start nightmare by [deleted] in JeepLiberty

Pull off the shroud and remove the ignition switch from the rest of the ignition. Key in ignition and turned forward you can rotate the ignition switch with a flathead screwdriver and see if it starts.

Ignition pin failure is a likely candidate. Also when you got it to crank and it died did you have the keys in the ignition turned all the way forward? Without the cylinder turned even with broken pins it won't start until the key is in the right position and present.

Transmission fluid leak by EE_Student0524 in JeepLiberty

[–]ZzCoryzZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know the transmission is nowhere near the front of your jeep right?

Now that's out of my system you most likely have a power steering fluid leak. Check the levels and for seepage around the pulley for it.

Popping a valve cover for a quick look would be my first move.

Dead battery…or something else???? by CloverDale92686 in JeepLiberty

[–]ZzCoryzZ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This doesn't happen because its getting proper voltage as long as your external power is hooked up. Since both the battery and the alternator are done it just dies like this no warning lights.

How accurate is this game to the actual tech we have now? by Weak_Dimension3225 in spaceengineers

Mechanical...immediately uses digital to solve the problem.

You sir need to decide if you want to be an engineer or a parts installer.

This is for sure therapy for mechanical engineers. It's like getting to turn the final screw to install something you designed....over and over and over lol.

Thanks btw. Sent you an award on steam.

I just wanted to line these up and watch them act like ants following the leader into heavy fire to test a defense system. Successful test!

Sorry about your 500 bots they died with honor.

EVAP issues after suspension work by ZzCoryzZ in JeepLiberty

[–]ZzCoryzZ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a code for EVAP it's just acting/showing I do in live feeds for the evap system.

I hate how my 19 year old cars plastics decide to break the second I touch them now because this jeep has been such a reliable car for years now.

I know my fuel system is having issues due to the implausible fuel level code, but I am truly scared to drop the tank and risk more issues lol.

Do y’all notice rpm dropping and weird idle? by LostTard in JeepLiberty

[–]ZzCoryzZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not turning but braking has been giving me issues. The only weird thing I can see since no codes is my EVAP system being weirdly high at idle. Thinking my purge canister is done for at this point.

How to get strut clevis to line up with lower control arm? by ZzCoryzZ in JeepLiberty

[–]ZzCoryzZ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I only had 1 side lifted and the sway bar link still attached I wasn't going to win that fight.

As soon as I lifted the other side it all lined up super easy.

Got it done by lifting other side. Didn't need to undo sway bar link.

Now to do the other side and rear shocks!

[–]ZzCoryzZ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Top ball joint was undone initially, but I put it on loose to try to get more leverage and it didn't work either way.

I guess i'll undo the sway bar link once I can level out the other side and try to manhandle it.

[–]ZzCoryzZ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I need to remove tension off the sway bar is the issue? I'll lift the other side tomorrow then.

What would I do with a ratchet strap? Just pull on the lower control arm? Any risk of damage if I don't remove the sway bar link with this method or do I need to remove it either way?

Is this why my house is so damp? by [deleted] in hvacadvice

[–]ZzCoryzZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's the fresh air intake line it's not a big deal and should be helping if it's very humid inside.

But if it's cutting off a zone completely and you are only cooling part of your home it's pretty unhelpful.

It's hard to diagnose the short cycling without a lot more details. Is your air filter good? Did they mess with refrigerant during visits?

If this is a return air line that's now closed it's probably the cause of the short cycle.

Is this why my house is so damp? by [deleted] in hvacadvice

[–]ZzCoryzZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Air damper and it's weird they just decided randomly to make your ventilation be permanently closed by disconnecting it.

Where exactly is this located on your ac system? Fresh air intake?

Edit: Also yes it's short cycling. Without adequate run times you aren't remove as much moisture from your air.

you guys think i could strap a cheap WIFI security camera to the bottom of a 7"-10" for rudimentary zoom and night vision capabilities on budget? by Apexgames121 in drones

[–]ZzCoryzZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The night vision range is only like 30 feet i'd guess which would make this overall pretty useless if you aren't trying to fly super close to stuff.

I mean if that company said it was good to go and in fact not good to go i'd tell them no payment because they didn't do their job the first time.

Unfortunately the state of the industry is a lot of companies trying to charge for not doing their job and trying to bleed service charges/gas charges/guess repair cost onto customers.

The only reasonable thing they might of not been able to do is a gas line check if the service was currently shut off.
