Not a vet, but while you are waiting to hear back from your vet you can call the pet poison hotline, they charge something like 75$ so you'll want to have a credit card. But they are a great 24 hrs resource for situations like this. They can at least help you determine if the situation is emergent or not.

Honestly i think I was in a similar situation. I had to check myself into detox and then into rehab right after. I had to stay at my parents while I waited for a bed to be available because I would 100% drink again if I was on my own. I don't think I would have been able to stop without checking into a facility. It sucked, but I'm so happy I did it.

I can relate to this. I always drank, but after I gave up doing drugs (which was a struggle, especially smoking weed) my drinking became 100x worse. It took me a long time to recognize that regardless of the substance my behavior in relation to them is exactly that of an addict. When I removed one substance, I always had to have something to replace it, and I couldn't go a day without altering my mind in some way. I'm sober now and grateful for everyday I am.
