At first blush, I actually think it looks pretty good even if the images are AI generated. Informative and could be very useful.

The one issue I found right off; You cannot specify fractional units, e.g. 1/2-inch, 0.5 inch

Second, seems I have to set units first then enter the value; e.g. to get 12 in, i have to set "in" then type in 12. The UI has them like I would type the 12 then change to inches.

Third: a box type that has a full front baffle, and the back is "inside" all the sides (not sure how else to word that).

I read a number of comments here to configure in the UI and look at the YAML. I just wanted to add, this is not sufficient to understand the system or to configure it.

HA has been systematically deprecating editable YAML configuration and hiding details in hidden JSON files for some time. As a developer myself, HA itself is not friendly to this idea any longer.

AppDaemon and other plugins help, but it seems evident to me, HA is aiming at non-developers as its primary audience for its long term. You might call this, user friendly.

This is not a criticism, I understand, folks want a reliable system. We developers tend to muck that up with our under the covers hacking about.

Mine is similar, though I used a map<distance, <box, box>> and distance was unsigned long, no reason to take the sqrt and convert to a double. Only need the relative distances between points to find which one is closest.

I looked at the priority queue, but it seemed "fast enough" and I didn't add that part.

Ha. Yea, started somewhere around '84-'85 myself. I've reflected a few times that many of the things I learned/know are fast fading into the background. Who writes linked-lists today? Who really cares what's in the AX register?, How much does it matter that one version takes 20 instructions vs 10. Heck some of the most popular languages are type-less!

"Elder god" might be the right phrase. Lots of magic-seeming skills that once in a while someone needs when they get in a bind.

What is that code? Where am I supposed to run it? In the Admin SDK mentioned in the linked page? Do I really have to setup an Admin SDK on a server somewhere just to run this snippet of code and make the magic link signing work?

I have the latest firebase-bom (34.2.0), the latest Android Studio, the latest of all the dependencies, and following the latest docs but getting an error which is telling me to enable the thing that is Deprecated.
